-Ella's Pov-
"I want this to be perfect. She deserves it and with the album going smoothly we might had to travel around a bit like Shawn did," Luke tells me. I try to push the thought of Calum being away for long periods of time and focus on his words.

"I have the cake, balloons, streamers, and music down. Calum sent out the invitations a week ago and everyone can come so it should be huge," I tell him. Calum walks in with Ashton carrying a giant happy birthday sign.

"Alright project Kennedys Birthday is in action," he announces. I sigh in relief as he finally relaxes. Kennedy told him weeks ago that she didn't want a big fuzz but he took that as she needs the biggest party in the world. Shawn's flying in from LA, the guys are playing a couple songs as well as Shawn, and the girls have an a amazing outfit picked out for her. Luke gave us his card and said to go crazy.

"I'm gonna go set up my part of the plan and text you when we are in our way," I tell him. He gives me a quick hug and the other guys wave goodbye. It's five now and the party starts at seven meaning we have two hours to get ready. Plenty of time. Jessie and Allison text me they are already at her house and I rush over. This is gonna be perfect.

"Why are we dressing up for dinner?" She asks looking at the dress we are holding up.

"Cause every girl deserves to look hot on their birthday," I tell her. She nods her head and takes the dress into the bathroom to change. The three of us grab our outfits and wait for her to get out to change. I check my phone and see a text from Shawn.

Shawn: is it okay if I bring someone?

Ella: has the famous Shawn Mendes finally landed a women?

Shawn: shut up and maybe...

Ella: of course you can is that even a question

Shawn: tell Kennedy happy birthday for me and I'll see you guys later tonight

Ella: will do

Shawn love ya

Ella: love ya too

"Shawn said happy birthday," I say as she walks out of the bathroom. We all scream at how good she looks and she spins around in the mirror.

"This had to cost a fortune it's beautiful," she smiles, fixing her hair.

"Tell Luke thanks not us," Jessie says. She spins around with wide eyes and freezes.

"Luke bought this? I hate when he spends money on me," she groans.

"You look amazing. Who says a guy can't spoil his girl every once in a while?" Allison says.

"You guys change so we can take picture," she announced. We all quickly pile in and out of the bathroom to change. Kennedy is in a blue dress, I'm in black, Allison is in pink, and Jessie is in red. Our go to colors when choosing an outfit for a party.

"Shit we clean up nice," Jessie says, fixing her eyeliner. We all take turns taking pictures of each other for Instagram before taking group shots outside. I check my phone and see it's almost seven and I give a look to the girls.
