~Saturday night~
"How's studying going?" Michael asks walking into the kitchen. I groan putting my head in my hands.

"This math test determines if I graduate or not and I keep failing all the practice quizzes," I groan.

"It's cause you aren't focusing. You have to stop studying around Calum he distracts you," Shawn scolds as he walks back in from the bathroom.

"He's just so attractive," I fake cry, getting a sympathetic tap on the back from Michael.

"Why don't you go study at home where he's not?" He suggests.

"Guys, I'm right here,"Calum says as he eats in the living room.

"Shush this isn't about you," Michael states. I laugh as Calum throws his hands up in defeat.

"Baby, you just need a break," he says, rubbing my back.

"Don't call me baby. If I fail then I can't graduate with Kennedy, Allison, and Jessie. Which makes me a loser. Do you really wanna date a loser? I didn't think so," I snap. The three guys look at me concerned and I start packing my books up, "I'm sorry. I'm just really stressed and I think I should be alone to completely focus," I tell them.

"Do you want a drive home?" I ask Shawn. He looks to the guys and Calum invited him to stay and play video games. I smile at their newly found friendship as Michael helps me pack my things. I give him a hug as he hands me my bag.

"You'll be fine little Hemmings," he whispers. I nod my head and plant a kiss to Calum's cheek. Shawn dabs me up and I leave the apartment.

~Monday Afternoon~

"Mrs.Mowers, is there any extra credit that I can do to boost my grade?" I ask. She gives me a sympathetic smile as she looks at my tired eyes and stressed demeanor.

"I'm sorry but I don't offer it in this class and it would be fair to only offer it to you," she says. I nod my head and tell her I understand before walking to lunch. I feel tears spring into my eyes and go into the bathroom to clean myself up.

Calum: how did your talk with Mrs. Mowers go?

I press his contact and hit call after checking if the bathroom was empty, "Hey, how did it go?" He asks. I try to conceal my real emotions but he can hear it in my voice.

"Cal, I feel like everything is falling apart right now. I've been so focused on math recently that I forgot about my science test today," I sniffle over the phone.

"You're doing your best and that's all that matters. You have three more months of high school and you're passing everything but math. Fuck the science test. The teacher loves you and knows how hard working you are," he assures me over the phone.

"I know you're right. I just feel so overwhelmed right now," I say, fixing my makeup in the mirror.

"I love you and you're doing great. You're working hard for this grade don't let doubt get in the way," he tells me.

"Can I stay over tonight? I know I should study more but I just need to see you," I ask, pulling myself together.

"I'll pick you up from school. Did you drive in with Kennedy today?" He asks. I nod before realizing he can't see me and tell him yes.

"Go eat lunch and I'll be waiting outside when you get out of class," he says. I thank him and say a quick I love you before hanging up. I walk out of the bathroom and meet the girls at lunch. Allison and Jessie start talking about Prom as Kennedy gives me a worried look. Sometimes I hate how well she knows me.
