[A few months later.]

Presidential son and DRGC Chairman, Louie Alexander del Rosario was spotted getting cozy with ex-fiancée, Monica Castillo, in a social event.

Is del Rosario Group of Companies' Chairman, Louie Alexander del Rosario, getting back with ex-fiancée, Monica Castillo?

Is DRGC Chairman, Louie Alexander del Rosario, and businesswoman/socialite, Monica Castillo, betting on their second chance in love?

I was fully aware of the burning sensation in my chest as I read the captions on Louie's photos which were posted on various news outlets in the Philippines. I huffed and tossed my phone in the space beside me. I was sitting on the couch in the living room, with a medical book on my lap. My laptop was on the coffee table right across from me.

I have been doing a self-review since I got here in the Netherlands. Plus, I've been learning Dutch. Mag-i-enroll na kasi ulit ako pagkapanganak ko, which is less than a month away already.

"May problema ba?" tanong sa akin ni Rona. Napansin yatang nakasimangot ako. Siya yung ni-hire ni Louie para may makasama ako sa bahay.

Lumapit ito sa akin bitbit ang isang bowl ng mga hiniwang assorted fruits at saka inilapag iyon sa coffee table sa aking harapan.

Hindi ako sumagot. I just pouted.

I started to slowly rub my now very huge tummy to calm her down.

It's amazing how round and full my tummy is now. Para na itong puputok. Kabuwanan ko na kasi.

Mommy's sorry for making you upset, baby. I thought as I kept rubbing my tummy.

Rona sat on the other end of the long couch. At dahil nga hindi ko naman iyon ni-lock, she instantly saw what pissed me off.

"Hmmm. Fake news," anito.

I grabbed my phone from the couch, locked it, and carefully tossed it on the coffee table.

"Hindi totoo yun. You don't have to worry about that," ang muli nitong wika nang hindi ako nagsalita.

"Who said I'm worried?" ang patay-mali kong wika.

"Well, it's written all over your face. Halata namang nagseselos ka, eh," ang humahagikhik nitong wika.

I glared at her. "Excuse me? Who said I'm jealous?" I know I am not fooling anyone here pero medyo nakakahiya pa din kasing deretsahang umamin.

"Basta ang alam ko lang, wala kang dapat ikaselos. Saka masama yan sa baby kaya 'wag kang mag-isip ng kung anu-ano," ang wika pa nito.

"Wala naman akong karapatang magselos," I said, more to myself than to her. "We're divorced."

He can date or marry anyone he likes. The thought brought a nagging pain in my heart.

I slowly stood up --- which is not an easy task considering how huge and heavy my tummy is --- and put the book down on the coffee table.

"Saan ka pupunta?" ani Rona.

"Bedroom. I wanna take a nap,” I said. “Pakibalik na lang nitong book at laptop sa study, ha?”

"But you haven't had your snacks yet. Anong gagawin ko dito sa mga fruits?"

"You can eat them,"  ang sabi ko habang nagsimulang iika-ikang maglakad --- with my hand on my waist for support --- papunta sa may hagdanan na nag-uugnay sa second floor ng bahay.
