"Kuya, sasabay ako!"

I closed my eyes and heaved a deep sigh of frustration when I heard my sister's annoying voice. I patiently waited for her to get inside our service and when she finally get in, the car moved.

I was just quite the whole ride to school. I just don't feel like talking. Sawang-sawa na akong magsalita dahil kay Duchess. She knows I hate talking too much that's why she would always annoy me just to talk.

It's like her day is not complete without hearing my annoyed voice. Just like today. She wouldn't stop talking nonsense and about that ten-year-old girl we saw last month. Yes, it's been a month but she still hasn't moved on about it. She keeps on saying that I have a crush to that young girl.

I don't even like a kid! Hindi ako papatol sa bata, ano! We have seven years gap, I think. But why the heck am I thinking about that girl?! This my sister's fault.

"Kuya, hello?! Where the heck on earth are you?" Duchess said while rolling her eyes. Ang sarap dukutin ng mata.

"Will you stop talking? Even just for today?" I said with my annoyed voice.

"I won't stop talking hanggat hindi mo inaamin na you find cute that girl," she smirked. What the fudge?!

"Bahala ka sa buhay mo." I stormed out of the car. Hindi ko na siya hinintay makababa dahil hindi naman 'yan maliligaw rito. She has so many friends even if she's just twelve years old.

"I will find a way to know the girl's name, kuya! Don't worry!" She shouted.

Napailing na lang ako. Kailan kaya siya matatahimik sa issue na 'yon?! I just helped that kid for heaven's sake! It's no big deal! And yes, I smiled at her because she smiled at me! Alangan namang simangutan ko, 'di ba?! Duchess really know how to pissed me.

Nang makarating ako sa locker ko, I saw Kohen. My best friend. May kasama siyang babae and I guess that's his new fling. He's my closest friend or should I say my only friend? I really don't have that big circle of friends like Duchess. I don't like loud or crowded places, except school. Alangan namang paalisin ko ang mga studyante rito para lang maging mag-isa ako?

"Oh, bro! Sambakol na naman mukha mo! Hulaan ko, si Duchess may dahilan niyan 'no?" Kohen playfully laughed.

"Who else?" saad ko habang nilalagay ang mga iba kong gamit sa loob ng locker ko. "Who's that girl? New fling?" I asked when the girl left.

"Yeah. I just broke up with girl I saw last week."

Napakunot ang noo ko. Parang wala lang lang sa kaniya 'yon habang sinasabi niya. This guy's really a walking red flag, and the girls surrounds him is a freaking flag pole.

When the classes started, I am the happiest guy on earth. Bakit? Tahimik at walang Duchess na nangugulo sa akin. Ngunit nang dumating ang oras ng breaktime namin, I almost call all the saint in this world. May Duchess na naman kasi gugulo sa payapa kong buhay, ang even if I hide she'll find me.

Nakasuot na ako nang earphones at sagad na rin ang volume ng phone ko, pero rinig ko pa rin ang boses ng kapatid ko. Since the breaktime started, hindi na siya natigil kaka-salita. And my best friend here is just laughing at us. I bet he's enjoying this.

"Kuya?! You're not listening! Can you tanggal that annoying earphones?!" My sister shouted like she owns this school.

Inalis ko ang earphone na nasa kaliwang tenga ko at sinamaan siya ng tingin. "Can you shut up?" Pinanliitan ko siya ng mata.

"I won't. I saw the girl again, kuya! I talked to her and asked for her name!" She said, giggling.

"So? I don't care about the name," sabi ko saka muling sanang ibabalik ang earphone sa tenga ko nang hilahin niya 'yon kaya pati ang cellphone ko ay bumagsak. "Duchess!" I shouted before getting my phone on the floor.
