Entry fifteen:
As I Figure Out. No, I don’t know what I’m doing anymore. But Gavin just texted me back and said he wouldn’t mind going on a double date. Hopefully you’ve already asked Kaaleb out. Otherwise it would be a little awkward explaining why it’s just the three of us or whatever.
I was thinking we could either go paintballing, to the movies, bowling or just hop in a car and drive around randomly & see where we end up. If we don’t do that (the driving idea), then I’m totally suggesting it to Gavin. Whatever you want to do is cool with me, and Gavin conceded that it’s my turn to choose, so there you go.
We’ve been IMing and texting a lot over the past couple of days and I’m still just as excited as I was that first night. I can’t believe that someone like him would agree to go out with me. There must be something wrong with him right? I mean besides the whole lists thing, which really isn’t all that weird. He’s just too good to be true. I hope I’m not jinxing it by writing about him like this (knock on some wood with me), but I sincerely hope he doesn’t have like some girlfriend abroad or studying somewhere across the country or something. I would feel horrible if they broke up because of me. Why do I do that to myself you ask? Well it would seem I like totally freaking myself out while putting the four of us down for some reason. Maybe I should switch topics now…
Where did you meet Kaaleb exactly? Because you wouldn’t tell me anything when you got back that summer, you just kind of walked around looking dazed and mumbling something about knitting. Come to think of it, that’s when you started with all this crafting and creative expression stuff. So now I have to wonder if that’s because you were stuck with a seventy year old all summer, or if it’s because you met a girl who calls herself by a guy name. You’ve got some explaining to do mister.
As for the threats you suggested, they worked like a charm. Though I do suggest you stop writing as if they can’t see what you put in the pages of this book, because as much as I would like to say that they can’t read this, that would be a total lie.
Anyway, now that the office finally sent down a substitute teacher it looks like I won’t be writing anymore. I look forward to our double date though. I’ll talk to you about that after school.
