Friday night I was at a benefit concert that was organized by some friends, which was pretty awesome (they raised over $1500 to build wells in Africa). I'll include one of the band's websites in the external link. And Saturday was the Eurovision Finals, which was exciting. So in other words, it's been a weekend full of music so far, which is always great :)

As for the chapter I'm posting now, it's quite long...if I'd realized that before then I probably would have put Dexter's response with the last chapter. But oh well, I guess it introduces this one nicely. Anyway, enjoy :D

Dexter’s Seventh Response:

Wow. So much has happened and it hasn’t even been that long. I don't know what to tell you Sammi. I'm glad your relationship with Gavin's working out so well for you. I’m glad to read that you feel like you’ve managed to accept the fact that he’s bisexual. The fort thing sounds cool - you should have invited me over, or at least taken a few pictures for my inspection. That was an interesting poem, and why did he make you call his cousin? That’s just so weird. The whole fight seems a lot worse the way you've written it here then what you told me at school though. If the two of you weren't together again, I would totally beat the jhfjfb out of him.

I would just like you to know that only major players and guys who are in touch with their 'feminine side' could pull off, let alone think of how to be that romantic, especially when apologizing. So don't be surprised if I ever need to ask either of you dating advice...

As for your day with Kaaleb, I'm sure you're exaggerating. Her version of the story is pretty different. The only thing she even said about the argument was that you seemed to be trying to intimidate her, so she felt she had to defend herself. Though I do realize she seemed to be defending me more than herself. Don't worry though, I'm fine. And just so you know, I still think we're closer than siblings, but you don't have to worry about me getting all romantic on you; and not just because I don't know how. I think there should be a term for people who are as close as lovers (or whatever word you would use for people in a romantic relationship) but more like siblings. I don't even know if I'm explaining this right. Does it make sense to you? I'm just saying I feel really close to you but I don't want to kiss you right now, and we don't argue as much as siblings. It’s completely platonic. That's about the best way I can sum it up.

Anyway, back to Kaaleb, I think you should talk to her again and try to figure it out, because it would really suck if my best friend and girlfriend didn't like each other.

Now, I just have to say that entry with all the random rambling had me almost peeing my pants in laughter. My mom even came into my room to ask me what was wrong, I was laughing so hard. But those comments are just so you, though I do agree with you on a lot of those points like the being sick one, or the earphones thing. The only thing that bothered me a little was Marny's story. Marny what happened? Has someone recently gone and put a blender to your piece of mind? Because that last story, about the wire person was just messed up. Would you like to write me another one? Maybe one I could remember and pass on to my children when I have some.

That I think just about covers it then.

My God. I'm sorry for using the Lord's name in vain, and for not giving this back to you like I was planning, but I just had to comment.

What happened to your face? I'm not trying to be mean here, I seriously want to know. That can't be healthy. I think you should probably stay away from whoever gave you that shiner and split lip.

Entry twenty seven:

Red Flag. Heya Dexter, don't I look lovely? Yeah, you can thank your girlfriend for that. That witch attacked me. I messaged her and asked if she wanted to go to the mall or something. She agreed, so we met up. We talked about things like the weather or whatever while we walked through the first store or two, but eventually I decided to just tackle the problem.
