I promise the chapters get longer & more interesting eventually - just bear with me.

Entry three:
So I guess the test went well enough; I got stuck on one question, but otherwise it was ok. How did you get so smart & helpful anyway?
Just in case you're wondering, this entry qualifies under the 'waiting for you' category. What time did you say you'd get here? If you don't show up soon, we'll miss the movie! I really wish my parents would let me drive, but they’re afraid I'll get distracted and die, or something drastic like that. Thanks for giving me some lessons last summer by the way. I have been reading the driver’s manual and saving up for the past few months now, so if you wouldn't mind, when you have a spare moment, could you take me to get my G1?
If you want me to describe my waiting surroundings, it's pretty much my normal house stuff going on; mom's making dinner for three, dad is slaving away at the computer doing who knows what, and Jessica is upstairs on the phone with her boyfriend. How is it that she's managed to get herself a boyfriend in her freshman year, and neither of us, as seniors have ever gone on more than one date? I guess I should try to figure that out maybe.
So besides that, there's three different musical tastes traveling around the house, and my ears are pretty close to popping with the volume I need to use to block it all out. Including "the voices". At least they're not being completely annoying. I'm glad the four of us can at least agree as far as that. Right at this moment I'm listening to Sum41 performing All Messed Up. I wonder if you've heard this one yet, you should look it up, it's seems like your kind of music.
If I have to keep writing, it means you haven't shown up yet, and I'm going to start yawning soon. And I do remember you telling me not to multi - task while I don't have to, so I'm just sitting on this slightly chilly porch, enjoying the fireflies and crickets, though I’m sure some of those louder cricket sounds are just Marny trying to create a peaceful atmosphere. I must admit it's working, though if it gets too peaceful I might start to fall asleep, and then what kind of companion would I be?
Is it Stella's fault you're so late? I swear that girl takes longer than a pop star to get ready. Maybe we should start telling her the time we're meeting up half an hour earlier so she starts getting ready earlier too...
Why is it so wrong for me to have a cell phone exactly? It's not like I can't differentiate between the conversations going on inside and outside my head. If I couldn't then I'd probably be locked up in some mental institution by now. I hope you realize my parents take your advice seriously. They are too "busy" to find out how to take care of their own child, and since you've done so much research on it in the past few years, they figure you've got it covered and they can just leave me to your care. I am always grateful to you for looking out for me, but you and I both know my parents like Jessica better. All they have to do to keep her happy and in check is pay her cell phone bill and buy her new clothes.
Oh well, I guess I’m used to it now.
Yay. You’re here! Finally…so I guess I’ll stop writing now, and just go say hi normally.

Novela JuvenilA teen-aged girl with Schizophrenia gets a journal from her best friend to help her vent. That's all it's for at first, but pretty soon it becomes about more than just writing about the voices in her head (whose names are Marny, Sadie, and Jamie). S...
