I feel like it would be mean to leave Marny's story unfinished, so here you go :)

Entry two:

I like the word entry better than "day" for the beginnings of my, well, entries, because it's so much more accurate and less confusing, don't you think?

I know you'd do anything you could to make it all better, but I just don't want to take crazy pills. I'll just try this out if it makes you happy, and if I really start going mental, then you have my written permission to start giving me the pharmaceuticals, ok?

Anyway, so as far as I can remember it, the rest of the story went something along the lines of the two kids trying frantically to clean up and leave before anyone shows up. He drops her off at home, and at this point Sadie's just making lewd noises - I'm sure she'd include gestures if she could - to indicate what happened there. So they decide it's safer if she stays home for this event, and he shows up just as the champagne bottle hits the boat. His mom pulls him into a hug and says she's been worried sick. He says something about staying over at a friend's house and his phone dying.

It would seem that eventually everyone who showed up gets on the boat and enjoys the official maiden voyage (more lewd sounds from Sadie). Once the party’s over, everyone disembarks, and the family starts their weekend long trip around the lake. That night, the fisherman leaves his son in charge above deck and he takes his wife on a grand tour of the master bedroom. (Marny insisted that I write it exactly like that, word for word. And could you please tell Sadie to just shut up? She might listen to you...)

In the end, the parents find a sock -  isn't that just suspicious, Sadie's rolling her eyes at the lack of scandal -  and the mother comes above deck to ask about the sock, only to find her son sprawled on the seating texting his girlfriend. She questions him about the sock and his miraculously working phone. His ingenious responses are that maybe one of his socks got stuck in the sheets during the wash and no one noticed it when they made the bed. Jamie finally decided to come in and argued that the sock would've been sweaty so that ruins that story, but Sadie said in her most exasperated 'duh' tone that the fisher parents wouldn't have been able to tell the difference after they sweated all over the place. Jamie backed down and didn't voice anymore opinions.

At this point I tried my best to shut them out and just listen to Grandma Ella, but of course that didn't work. If you're wondering how he answered the cell phone question, he said he charged it in the car before they left - which supposedly was partly true. In fact he was texting his girlfriend how great their night had been and she begged him to do it again soon. Bleh. As if I need to know those details of a fictional couple. But you wanted to know the rest of the story, so there you go. The moral of the story is that in a dirty family you can get away with dirty secrets.

I wonder if my parents see my schizophrenia as a dirty family secret. In any case, when they found out I'd told you they flipped out and told me not to tell anyone else. I always assumed they'd at least discussed it with their parents, but when I apologized to grandma for not paying attention because of the voices, she just laughed as if I was joking.

So there. I'm going in depth, ooh.

Today Sadie apparently got bored and kept making inappropriate comments about monsieur Periot. I promise I do not have a creepy teacher crush on him, but I guess Sadie does, because somehow her French seems to be better than mine. When I asked her why she never helped me during tests, Jamie just replied in his flat voice that that would be cheating, which I think is totally unfair. Marny seemed to have some writer's block or something today, because she never actually finished any of her stories today, and they pretty much sucked.

I think I better stop now, before I offend any of them any more and they decide that they will interrupt my big Physics test tomorrow. Thanks for helping me study for that by the way.
