LOKI POV
It took no convincing for Thor to take me to Asgard. We wasted no time in walking out onto the grass outside the Avengers compound, Thor summoning the Bifrost which took us straight to Heimdall. Thor merely nodded to Heimdall, who must have seen the urgency on our face, before I teleported both of us inside.
Thankfully, we did not run into Odin at all, though I was sure he had been alerted of our arrival, as we made our way straight towards Mother's chambers. The guards didn't try to stop us either, dipping their heads to Thor while paying no attention to me.
Thor politely knocked on Mother's doors, though I could sense the desperation making his whole body tense. As soon as our Mother's voice answered Thor's knock, I didn't hesitate to push the doors open, knowing we need to get Mother down to Midgard as soon as possible.
"My Sons." She smiled warmly from where we was sitting on a sunbed.
My heart twisted slightly but my steps didn't falter as I continued to walk into Mother's room. She smiled warmly as me, though it faded a little when she noticed the tension on my face and her eyes moved over to Thor's face, which probably looked similar.
"You are troubled." She stood up, walking over to me with such grace she looked like she was floating.
"I need your help." The words felt weird coming out of my mouth, I wasn't one to normally asked for help. She raised a hand and gently swept a stand of my hair out of the way. The movement was so gentle and kind that I felt tears prick at my eyes, causing me to thickly swallow the lump forming in my throat.
"It's the mortal woman, isn't it?" Her smile was full of sympathy.
"She's sick." I whispered, the lump stubbornly remaining in my throat. "I tried to heal her but..." I looked down at my hands. "I'm not strong enough."
"We will leave immediately." She tilted my head back up to face her and wiped away the stupid tear that escaped and rolled down my cheek.
I nodded and took a deep breath before turning back around, facing Thor, who watched me with sympathy and I shot him a glare. I could do with one lot of sympathy, but sympathy from my brother was a hard no.
Mother reached out to Thor's arm and I teleported them all to the Bifrost, Heimdall bowing his head to my Mother and brother, but giving me a firm glare. I ignored him as he opened up the Bifrost, immediately dragging us all back to the Avengers compound. I gave them a second to get their baring before I teleported them straight into the Lab.
Emily looked worse than when I had left her, I wasn't sure if it was just my imagination, but she looked paler and her breathing seemed weaker. Stark looked up at us sharply as we suddenly appeared, Banner stumbling back a couple of steps.
"Who's this?" Stark demanded and I saw Thor bristle out of the corner of my eye at Stark's tight tone.
"Frigga, Queen of Asguard." I replied, not in the mood for introductions. "Mother, Tony Stark. Stark, my Mother."
"You look nothing like her." Stark muttered, but I didn't waste my energy to send him a glare.
"Does he have to look like me to be my Son?" My mother's tone was sharp and I couldn't help my lips twitching in the ghost of a smile as Stark looked away, put in his place.
I pulled Mother over to Emily's side and my stomach churned at the sight of her wound. I was sure it was worse, the actual opening of the wound was all swollen and puffy and black liquid was leaking out of it. There were black tendrils of what I assumed was the poison creeping around from the wound, tainting her otherwise unharmed skin.
