17. Back To Daycare

i'm having trouble with the next chapter of perfect cuz it was like all emotiony and i'm scared of emotions.

anyways hopefully i get over that soon, if not i'll skip the chapter and then just publish it on its own.

this is a boring chapter i'm so sorry i just can't be jumping from big thing to big thing i need chapters in between.

i'm so sorry i'm realizing my writing varies so much like why am i jumping around and then other days i'm providing the most immaculate detail. also some of my other stories r just better written, i'll try to do better srry

the changes would be after this chapter tho... so srry but deal with it for now.

You were finishing up Haru's bath, pouring some water over his head to make sure he was all rinsed off. You stood up and grabbed his towel from the sink counter.

"Ready?" You asked as you held his towel open.

Haru nodded his head and grabbed the edge of the tub to help him stand up, then he reached his arms for you. You quickly picked him up with the towel, making sure not to let the end of it fall in the bath water.

"Let me wrap you up so you're all nice and warm" You said as you sat Haru on the sink counter on top of the towel and stood in front of him.

You made sure that the towel was covering his back and then you wrapped the front around him.

"Are you ready to go back to daycare tomorrow?" You asked with a smile, knowing how much he missed it.

His face dropped and he shook his head.

"What?" You asked worriedly. "You're not ready?"

He shook his head again. "I don't wanna"

You picked him up and pulled the drain plug, then you brought him into his room to get him dressed.

"Why don't you wanna?" You asked as you sat down on the floor with him.

"I wanna stay with you" He said quietly. "I wanna stay at the cafe"

"Aw" You said as you lightly squished his cheek. "I wanna stay with you too, but you have to go to daycare"

He pouted and shook his head.

"Baby, you love daycare" You said as you rubbed his legs through the towel, drying him off.

"Noooo" He whined. "I don't wanna"

You sighed. "You really, really don't wanna go?"

He shook his head again.

"Okay..." You said slowly.

Well that wasn't an option. You finally had enough money to pay for daycare for the month and you already did it, so he was going to daycare.

"If I let you stay with me in the morning tomorrow if you go to daycare in the afternoon" You offered.

Haru was still pouting but he nodded his head.

"Okay" You said with a nod of your own. "Deal"

You got Haru dressed in his pajamas and then tucked him into his bed with his pacifier. "Goodnight baby" You said as you leaned over his bed rail and kissed his forehead.

"Goodnight mommy" Haru said back around his pacifier.

You left his room and went to your own, ready to fall asleep as soon as you hit the mattress.

Unfortunately, Daiki heard you go into the bedroom so he followed after you.

"Y/nnn" He said quietly as he climbed into bed behind you and put his hand on your hip.
