44. Cleaning

You woke up pretty late in the morning, but Haru was still asleep. He was curled up against your side and had his arms wrapped around Cheese who seemed oddly content about it.

You sat up and were relieved to find that your headache felt a bit better than it had the past few days.

You ran your hands through your hair and lightly over your bandages. Then you looked over at the nightstand for your water bottle and noticed that there was a note beside it.

The note said:

I went to check on my students and the girl. Help yourself to anything in the fridge, and if there's anything you or Haru want you can start a list, I'll go to the supermarket tomorrow. I'll be home around 4 but I can be back earlier if you need. Call if you need anything.

You put the note down and looked around, humming to yourself. "He'll be home by 4..."

You climbed out of bed and gave Cheese a small pat before leaving the bedroom. You went downstairs and decided that since Aizawa was gone, you'd clean for him.

You grabbed the home phone (ik most ppl don't have these anymore and aizawa prob wouldn't either but she doesn't have her cell so she needs something) and called Aizawa.

"Hello?" He asked when he picked up. "Everything okay?"

"Everything's good" You said. "I was just wondering where you keep your vacuum? And if it's okay if I do the laundry?"

"No." Aizawa replied.

"No?" You asked.

"Don't clean. Rest." He said.

You frowned. "But that's all I've been doing recently. Let me clean?"

"No." He said again. "Watch a movie with Haru."

"Haru's asleep, I'm gonna clean"

"No."

"Aizawaaa-"

"Wow, you really do feel better. Whining and everything"

"Don't tease me" You quickly said.

Aizawa chuckled into the phone. "Don't clean, I'll clean when I get back. You lay down and rest."

"But that's all I've been doing for the past few days" You said sadly.

"The past few days isn't enough, you have to rest more" He said.

You were quiet for a moment.

"Y/n?" Aizawa asked.

"I'm gonna clean" You quickly said. "Goodbye, see you at 4"

Then you quickly hung up the phone and put it back in it's holder.

You put your hands on your hips and looked around at the house. "Now time to find the vacuum"

You went around opening each closet door, you ended up finding one closet that was full of cleaning stuff. There was a vacuum, a broom, a swifter, and a bunch of sprays.

So you pulled everything out and got to work, starting on the first floor so that you'd disturb Haru and Cheese as little as possible.

After you had vacuumed the first floor and cleaned everything, you started bringing the vacuum upstairs which felt way harder than it should be.

"Mommy, do you need help?"

You looked up at the top of the stairs and saw Haru looking through the bars that lined the banister. Cheese was sitting next to him and licking her paws.
