When Daiki eventually made it home, he went right into his room where he continued to drink from the bottle he took.

It didn't make him feel better like he thought it would.

He covered his face with his hands, trying to forget about how you looked lying on the bed.

It wasn't working. He could never forget anything before, why would he be able to forget this now?

He knew he wouldn't be able to sleep so instead Daiki got up and went to his parent's room.

"Mom?" He whispered quietly as he tiptoed in.

There was no movement from the bed.

"Mom?" He whispered a bit louder, hoping that his dad wouldn't hear over his own snoring.

Now his mom stirred before looked over her shoulder toward the doorway where Daiki was standing.

"What, Daiki?" She asked, sounding slightly annoyed and really groggy.

He pointed towards the door. "Can I talk to you?" He asked.

She gave a small groan before pulling herself out of bed and going towards her son. "What?" She asked again.

Daiki looked at his dad still snoring in bed. He didn't want to wake him up, that would be bad. So Daiki and his mom went down to the basement to talk.

He sat at one of the bottom stairs while his mom stood in front of him, leaning against the bar behind her.

"Um..." Daiki said, realizing that he didn't know what to say to her. Now he was rethinking this, should he say anything to her? It would make his head stop hurting a little, and would make his stomach feel better. Maybe she had advice to how he could fix this.

"Um" He said again. "I did something bad."

His mom was clearly still tired, she was rubbing her eyes and yawning. "What was it, Daiki? You didn't get into a fight at prom, did you?"

Daiki shook his head. "No."

"What was it then, Daiki?" She asked again, waiting for his answer.

"Um, I was at the after party with Y/n and I think she drank too much." He shook his head. "I know she drank too much, and I was giving her her drinks."

His mom patted his shoulder. "Daiki, most people can't handle large amounts of alcohol."

Daiki nodded his head. "I know" He covered his face with his hands.

"Did Y/n make it home?" She asked.

Daiki didn't know. Hopefully Hana was taking care of you, but Daiki still wished that he was able to bring you here.

"I think so." Daiki said. "She's with Hana."

His mom patted his shoulder again. "It's okay, everyone at some point has too much alcohol."
