36. Falling

You laid there for about an hour before finally getting up. When you left the cafe you told Keigo and Hana that you just needed some air, and this was a long time to just get air. You didn't even bother to grab your phone before leaving the house and walking back to the cafe.

You took the scenic route so that your face had time to de-puff from crying. You didn't want to look like a complete mess.

When you got to the cafe you were immediately greeted by Haru. He ran to you as soon as you got through the door and hugged your legs.

You ruffled his hair. "Hi, baby"

"Hi mommy!" Haru greeted. "Hawks said you'd be back soon! And we went flying!!!"

"That's very nice" You said. "But we have to get going"

"Y/n..." Hana said. "You shouldn't go back..."

You ignored her and looked around the cafe. "Aizawa left?"

Keigo nodded. "He had to go check on the girl"

"And you guys didn't tell him anything, right?" You asked.

They both shook their heads.

"Good." You said. You reached your arms down for Haru. "Come on, say goodbye to Hawks"

Haru raised his arms so you could pick him up. "Bye Hawks! I hope you come to the cafe a lot too! I want to see you again!"

"I'm sure you'll see me again" Keigo said with a smile. "We have to go flying again!"

Haru eagerly nodded his head.

"You should stay at my house" Hana said quietly.

You really couldn't believe her right now. There was no way you were staying at her house.

"I think I'll pass" You said.

"You can stay with me" Keigo said, stepping forward a slight bit. "I have an extra room"

Haru gasped. "Sleepover at Hawks' house?! Yes!"

You frowned and patted Haru's head. "Maybe another night, we have to get home"

Haru pouted. "Please?"

"Another night" You said. "I promise"

"Promise-promise?" Haru asked.

You nodded your head and started going towards the door with Haru in your arms. "Bye"

Just as you got outside, Keigo ran after you.

"Y/n, I know you don't like asking for help" He said. "But seriously, just text me and I'll come get you"

You nodded your head. "I will... Bye Keigo"

He frowned. He was really hoping you wouldn't go back.

"Bye Hawks!" Haru called as he waved at him over your shoulder.

Once he was out of view Haru looked up at you. "Hawks is cool"
