Now it was dark out. Aizawa had not heard from you and you never showed up at the cafe.
He was patrolling a quiet night when he heard a police car go by with its sirens and lights on, so he decided to follow it.
He was familiar with the area that the car was seemingly heading to, but he certainly didn't expect for it to pull up right outside of your house.
He went and stood across the street as he watched two policemen get out of the car and walk up the concrete stairs to your apartment. They knocked on the door once and got no answer. Then they knocked with a bit more urgency and the door swung open.
"Do you know what time it is?-" Daiki started to ask. He was already irritated, but when he saw the policemen he calmed down.
"Just a noise complaint" One of the policemen said. "Anything going on, Daiki?"
Daiki shook his head. "No, nothing unusual. Kid doesn't like to go to bed sometimes"
The police officer nodded. "That would explain it. Thank you, have a nice night"
"Night" Daiki said as he started to shut the door.
"No!" Someone shouted from the bottom of the steps.
There was an old lady with grey hair at the bottom of the steps, shaking her fist at the police. "I hear yelling coming from this apartment just about every other day! And all you ever do is ask him if anything is going on! Go inside! All day today just shouting and yelling!Talk to the wife! Talk to the boy!"
The other police officer sighed and put his hand on the front door to keep it from closing.
"Daiki" He said. "Sorry, but can we just see Y/n?"
Daiki opened the door but made a face. "She's asleep with the kid"
"Can ya just wake her?" The officer asked. He pointed his thumb over his shoulder at the old lady. "I don't wanna have to deal with listening to her anymore"
Daiki nodded his head. "Sure" He closed the door.
Aizawa stayed across the street, watching and taking note of everything that was happening.
After a few minutes the door opened again and you stepped out in front of Daiki wearing a pair of sweatpants and a sweatshirt with the hood on.
"Hey Y/n" The police officer said as he greeted you. "Everything good? We got a noise complaint about some yelling"
You nodded your head. "Everything's good"
"How's Haru?" The officer asked.
You nodded again. "He just went to sleep"
The policemen nodded at each other and then gave you and Daiki both a wave. "Sorry bout that, just had to follow up on the call. Have a good night"
"Good night" You mumbled, watching them walk down the stairs.
You waved to your neighbor at the bottom of the stairs. "Sorry for the noise" You called to her.
The lady frowned as she shook her head. "I don't believe it" She muttered to herself, still looking up at you and Daiki.
Daiki tugged on the back of your sweatshirt. "Come on, get back inside"
You stepped back into the house and went into the bathroom to wash your face while Daiki stood in the doorway. Then you followed him back into your bedroom.
He laid down first in the bed and pulled the covers back for you, then you climbed in and he adjusted them over you before putting his head against his pillow and pulling you closer to him.
