i'll tell u guys soon how i was originally gonna end the story.

also- i used to block/mute ppl a lot when i was in a bad mood or if i thought they were really young. and now i think i should unblock ppl cuz really i was just being a meanie.

is this my... frontal lobe...? developing?

also i think i might've messed up by either making daiki too mean, or i should've published some chapters that i haven't posted yet way sooner because i don't think anyone had any tiny bit of empathy for daiki.

at least from the comments- last chapter a lot of people said they would laugh if they were in that situation but i really don't think anyone would be laughing if they actually were. the reactions that i could see happening r just crying, puking, or just staring from shock. maybe MAYBE laughing from shock, but i really don't think so

thats ok tho u can laugh at him if u want.

anyway.

Haru looked up at you with a frown. You hadn't said much, but you had been holding him since you got back to him, so that was okay.

But now he was getting beyond bored and he had been standing in the same spot for what felt like hours. He turned around and saw Eri with Hawks, he was showing her a flower.

"Mommy?" Haru asked as he looked up at you.

You looked down at him.

"Can I go play with Eri?" He asked, he pointed across the room at her and Hawks.

You followed his point with your watery eyes and nodded as you looked back down at the coffin.

Haru giggled as he let go of your hand and ran off to go play with Eri.

You could feel your bottom lip quivering again when you heard him exclaim 'yay!'.

It really was all for nothing.

Haru got to Eri and Hawks and smiled at them. "I wanna look at the flowers too!"

"They're sooo pretty!" Eri exclaimed.

Hawks looked across the room at you. You could definitely hear them, the whole place was empty except you four.

"Look at this one!" Eri said as she pointed at a flower and looked to Hawks for his reaction.

"That's a nice one." He said with a nod. "Show Haru the other ones we saw."

While Eri was distracted and turned to Haru, Hawks stepped away and went to the front of the room over to you.

You glanced at him as he stepped next to you then looked away. He didn't look away though, he was still facing you as he wrapped his arm around you.

You let him pull you against him and hug you as you continued to cry.

"Why couldn't he get better?" You asked, choking on your own tears. "He was so good when he was good?"

"I know." Keigo said, no matter how much he would rather shit talk Daiki.

"I wanna- I wanna go back to high school and try again" You said. "I could get him to never start drinking or-"

"Y/n..." Keigo said.
