21. Sick?

if ur reading this that means i deleted everything i wrote out here. that lasted long huh? 14 ppl saw it and i realized that even if none of u actually know who i am, i'm still so uncomfortable with just telling ppl about myself and my feelings.

"Sorry, Hana" You said as you walked into the cafe.

"Eh, ten minutes not too bad" Hana said while looking at her watch. "Almost missed your friend though"

You looked at who she was helping at the counter and you smiled at them. "Hi stranger"

"Hi" Aizawa said back. He looked back at Hana and pointed a thumb at you. "When's her birthday?"

Hana shook her head. "She already told me not to tell you"

Aizawa looked at you and saw that you were already sticking out your tongue at him.

You blew a small raspberry and then walked behind the counter.

"I'm a step ahead of you" You said as you disappeared into the backroom.

"We'll see how long that lasts" He said. "I'll figure it out soon"

Hana handed Aizawa his coffee and turned as you walked out of the backroom tying your apron around your waist.

"Y/n, can you open tomorrow?" She asked. "I got a doctors appointment in the morning, I should be here around noon"

You nodded your head. "Sure"

"Thank you" Hana said as she went to go do something across the cafe.

You walked up to Aizawa and leaned your elbows on the counter across from him. "How are you?"

"Good" He answered. "I was up early, so I guess I'm a bit tired"

You nodded your head. "I'm tired too"

"Did you go to sleep late?" He asked.

You nodded again.

"How come?" He asked.

"How come?" You repeated, not expecting him to ask for a reason. You shrugged your shoulders. "I dunno, just couldn't sleep"

Aizawa hummed and took a sip of his coffee. "Oh!- Are you still free sunday?"

"Yup" You said.

"I still have to go to the school on sunday, but would you like to come with me?" He asked.

You tilted your head at him. "I thought you had to supervise your class while they use the pool?"

He rolled his eyes. "Please, if anything happens to any of them then they don't deserve to be heroes"

Your eyes widened a bit. "Are you serious?"

"Yeah" He said.

You kept staring at him. "For real? Like if one of them drowned you'd be like 'eh, they wouldn't have made it as a hero'." You took your elbow's off the counter and slouched your shoulders, subtly imitating him.

He looked you up and down. "Yes I would. None of my students are capable of drowning especially while the entire class is there. Also that is not how I act."

You chuckled. "Yes it is, also I don't know if you're complimenting your students or if you just hate them"

"Not a compliment, just the bare minimum" He said.

You chuckled again. "You really do act different"

"What?" He asked.

Hana ran over and appeared next to Aizawa. "We know that you've got this whole thing going on- you're like emo or something, but when you're here for some reason, you choose to be nicer"
