41. Hide N Seek

There was a knock at Hana's door.

She sighed as she stood up from the couch and went to answer it.

As soon as the door was opened it got pushed open even further by whoever was on the other side. Hana stepped to the side and bumped into the wall as Daiki walked into her house without an invitation.

"Where's Y/n?" Daiki asked as he started looking around.

"Daiki!" Hana exclaimed. "She's not here!"

Daiki walked further into the house anyway, looking wherever he thought you could be. He flung any closed doors open and even looked in closets.

"You fucking told her didn't you?" Daiki asked. "I told you not to say anything"

"I didn't tell her!" Hana said, it was kinda half a lie.  "Y/n's not stupid!"

"Now she's mad at me and she didn't come home the other night and it's you're fault-" Daiki started.

Hana couldn't believe this. "Daiki, it's your fault. You pushed her down the stairs! What is wrong with you?! You could have killed her and Haru!"

Daiki got sick of looking around and not finding you, he also didn't like the way Hana was talking to him. So he turned and started going towards her. "If she's not here then tell me where she is"

"I don't know where she is!" Hana insisted, going to take a step back but she was already standing against the wall by the front door. "She won't talk to me!"

"She only talks to you!" Daiki shouted as he got closer and grabbed Hana by her shirt. "Where is she?!"

"I don't know!" Hana said again. She closed her eyes and turned her face away from him. "I don't know where she is!"

Daiki shook her, lifting her feet off the ground a slight bit and making her shirt stretch from his grip and go up. "Yes you do! Tell me where she is right now!"

"Try- Try Keigo" She finally said. "He was in the cafe the other day"

Daiki let go of her shirt and Hana leaned back against the wall, taking deep breaths.

"Keigo..." Daiki muttered.

He took one last look around her house before leaving through the front door that was still open.

Hana slumped against the wall until she was sitting on the floor and brought her knees up to her chest. Luna ran from under the couch where she was hiding and curled up under her legs.

"Oh my god" Hana said quietly as she wiped tears away from her eyes. "Oh my god" She said again.

She stood up and closed the front door, locking it quickly and then running over to the couch to grab her phone. She started calling Keigo right away.

"Hello?" Keigo asked when he answered.

"Keigo!" Hana said quickly and out of breath. "Keigo, Daiki was just here! He's looking for Y/n! I- I told him to try you, please tell me she's not there! Please?"

"Woah- She's not here" Keigo answered. "But are you okay? He didn't do anything to you right?"

Hana started sobbing. "I can't believe she's been living with him for the past four years! And it's my fault! I don't know how she deals with that!"

"Hana, what did he do?" Keigo asked. "I'm gonna come over there and bring you to my place, he knows where you live and he's not gonna find Y/n so he's just gonna keep coming back. He doesn't know where I live."
