Aizawa peeked into the guest room where you and Haru had been sleeping. It was still early in the morning, but Aizawa was trying to set up plans for the day. When he looked into the room he saw Haru laying on his stomach, petting Cheese. You were still asleep though, with one hand on Haru's back.

"Haru" Aizawa whispered.

Haru looked over at Aizawa and gave a little wave. Aizawa waved back and then motioned for him to come over.

So Haru climbed out of the bed and Cheese jumped off after him. Haru went over to Aizawa and Aizawa stepped back so they could talk in the hallway without disturbing you.

"Good morning" Haru said.

"Good morning" Aizawa said back as he crouched down. "I was gonna ask you what you'd like to do today? I think mommy's friend is gonna come over and they're gonna talk, so if you wanna do anything today I'll bring you."

"Hana's coming over?" Haru asked.

Aizawa shook his head. "No, not Hana. Mommy's gonna talk with her another time."

Haru furrowed his brows. Hana was the only friend he had ever seen you with or heard about he was pretty sure. "What friend?"

Aizawa was trying not to tell him who it was because he didn't want Haru to say he wanted to stay. But he also felt like he couldn't dodge that direct question.

"Hawks" Aizawa answered.

Haru gasped and started to smile. "I wanna see Hawks!"

"You can, you can" Aizawa assured him. "But we're also gonna give Hawks and mommy some space so they can talk with each other, okay?"

Haru's smile disappeared and he started fidgeting with the bottom of his pajama shirt. "I can't stay with mommy?"

"You don't have to worry about her, Hawks will take good care of her." Aizawa told him. "Hawks will make sure nothing happens, and they're gonna stay here so they'll be safe."

Haru still looked unsure. "Why can't I stay?"

"Because Hawks and mommy are gonna talk about things that you don't have to worry about." Aizawa explained. "And while that's happening, you can talk to me if you want."

"I can talk to you about daddy?" Haru asked.

Aizawa nodded his head.

Haru hummed while he thought, dragging it out for as long as he could before he had to take another breath to continue humming.

"Okay" He finally said. "I like Hawks"

Aizawa nodded. "Yes, I know. I'm sure after Hawks talks to mommy he won't mind staying extra for you."
