Luan woke up in a daze. The bed he slept on had taken him captive and he snuggled back into the comforter. Realizing the comfort of this bed added to the sound of someone making breakfast meant he wasn't in his dorm. He had stayed the night at Thoma's. He hid himself under the comforter and wondered if he could pretend to be asleep until Thoma went to work.
"It's Saturday isn't it," Luan remembered.
The events of last night started to play through his head and Luan couldn't help but blush at his behavior towards Thoma last night. He'd even come out to Thoma and he hadn't reacted negatively or really at all. Thoma had been a great listener and his simple fix to Luan's problems made them seem not so impossible to get over.
He rather liked having Thoma as a friend. He felt bad for having misjudged him so harshly though there was so much he still was dying to know about him.
Luan went into the bathroom to try and smooth down his hair but the natural waves were too stubborn. He opted to just tie it half up and deal with it later. Coming out in the clothes Thoma had lent him to sleep in he was greeted by Thoma's facing away from him, busy in the kitchen.
"It's kinda hot that he knows how to cook," Luan thought initially but his thoughts were halted when he saw the absolute disaster on the counter.
"Oh hey, you're up," Thoma said cheerily with a smile and Luan couldn't help but think how cute he looked.
Luan walked up next to him and peered over his shoulder at what was on the stove.
"You're making...omelets?" Luan tried to guess by the egg, vegetable and meat mess on the pan.
"Oh, well.. yeah. Is it obvious I haven't prepared it much?" He said with a nervous chuckle as he scratched the back of his neck.
"The fact that you're making me breakfast at all is already gracious enough. But if you want I can teach you how to cook sometime? My parents own a small restaurant back home so I know a few things." Luan offered and Thoma nodded his head very enthusiastically.
"I'd love that!"
"I'll pop in some bread for toast," Luan said and began to look for the bread but Thoma shooed him out from behind the counter to a seat at the counter.
"Coffee?" Thoma asked and seemed to think the question was funny. "Sorry I just found it amusing that now I'm the one serving you coffee," He said and hid his embarrassed face.
Luan laughed and nodded his head. "Some cream and sugar?" he asked and Thoma laid it all out in front of him.
They made small conversation until Thoma was done making them breakfast.
"So what're your plans for the day?" Luan asked and Thoma took a quick sip of his coffee before replying. "Taking you to your campus and to the police station, if that's okay with you of course,"
Luan blushed for reasons he couldn't understand and nodded while looking into his food. "Yeah, that's probably best in case Mikey shows up." He must really not be used to someone being nice to him and not want anything in return. Both Charlie and Thoma were good people.
"My thoughts exactly," Thoma said and cleared their plates. "Okay be honest with me.." Thoma said and Luan was afraid of what he might ask, "how bad was the omelet?" he asked and Luan smiled.
"I would be upset if I paid for it..." Luan mumbled and Thoma sighed but didn't seem upset in the slightest.
"Fair enough. 31 years of age and I can't even cook omelets correctly." He teased himself and began to wash their dishes.
"Thirty - one hmmm? Thats not too bad," Luan thought. "Wait what? Not too bad for WHAT?!" He internally screamed. I am going down a seriously dangerous path.

Luan got dressed in the outfit he'd worn the last two days. Thoma had offered him some clothes but Luan had quickly refused. He was starting to feel an attraction to Thoma and wearing his clothes, smelling his scent all around him, would only make his feelings grow deeper.
Once they reached his Universities office, Luan wanted to quickly go back to his dorm to grab some fresh clothes. Thoma seemed extremely apprehensive and eventually convinced Luan to let him go instead to grab some clothes for him while he talked to his adviser.
Thoma was anxious about Mikey showing up in front of Luan again. He was unreasonable and petty. Thoma could handle the kid just fine. He already had before.
Thoma made it to Luan's dorm room and opened his door with the key card. He was surprised to see his whole room in disarray. He feared that Mikey had made a mess of everything perhaps looking for something. But he noticed that the only thing littered on the floor were clothes and he wondered if Luan had perhaps been just as nervous as him for their drink date.
He smiled to himself but remembered why he was there. He just grabbed the simplest thing he could find and a pair of shoes and socks before hurrying out the door. He furrowed his brow when he spotted Mikey trying to convince someone to let him into the dorm building.
When Mikey spotted Thoma his face changed and he looked absolutely livid. Disregarding the student he'd just been bothering he hurried over to Thoma before he could escape.
"Hey there 'Charlie', what're you doing in.." He began to ask Thoma why he was there until he saw the clothes tucked under Thoma's arm. "You guys are already close enough for you to fetch him fresh clothes? God, you didn't seem gay but I guess you couldn't wait to fuck Luan's tight ho.." Thoma covers his mouth.
"Shut. Your. Goddamn. Mouth," Thoma seethed and Mikey pulled away from him.
"I thought I should warn you again because you don't seem to get it. Luan is a very needy lover and it's gonna take you a long time before you're able to satisfy him. He's gonna get bored of you, so save yourself both some time and let him come back to me," He said and stuck his pierced tongue out.
Thoma had had enough. Luan and him were not together but rather than explain that, he wanted to shut this kid up.
"I am not in Luan's life as temporary fix or distraction. He's a good kid who should have someone who cares about him by his side. You were never that for him and all you did was hurt him. If you truly wanted to be with and deserve Luan, you should start by wanting him to be happy." Thoma said and he caught Mikey's eyes which were laced with anger.
Thoma felt another pair of eyes on him and looked past Mikey to see Luan staring at him.
Well, shit.
