Luan went back to his dorm that night and though Thoma assumed that he'd still see him often, Luan became too busy with school, work and the play to come over.

Thoma would sneak away with Luan during play practice for some much needed kissing, but it seemed he could never get enough of him. Luan seemed to handle everything maturely and Thoma started to feel insecure.

"Did Luan not want to be near him all the time? Did he not loathe how short every one of their touches and kisses were?"

Three and a half weeks went by like this and Thoma went shamefully home once again. His work life and theater life, with no reprieve from his new boyfriend, was crushing his spirits. As soon as Thoma walked into his apartment he was hit with the smell of something delicious. He kicked off his shoes hurriedly and ran into the kitchen.

Luan was at the stove in an apron, stirring something in a pan.

"Welcome home, my dear," he said sweetly and Thoma hugged him from behind, kissing his neck and nuzzling into him. "God, I've missed you." Thoma sighed.

"You see me almost everyday, ya baby," Luan teased him and taste tested the chicken meatballs he was making, offering Thoma a bite.

"Not for long enough and not like this," Thoma said while chewing with a slight pout on his face. When Luan looked back at him and his puffy cheeks he couldn't help but think he looked absolutely adorable.

"Is it missing anything?" Luan asked and turned back to their meal. Thoma kissed him on the cheek, "You're the cook, honey dear, you tell me. I think it's good."

"You're no help at all," Luan said with a laugh and Thoma shrugged. He disappeared to his room to get changed and Luan finished up their dinner. He set their plates up with rice, chicken meatballs with sautéed vegetables and for dessert he'd attempted to make cheesecake, though it was his first time trying his mother's recipe and he wasn't sure he'd made it right.

Thoma came out, made them drinks and they sat at the island eating.

After dinner and dessert they were sitting on the couch talking when Thoma asked, "So was there some special reason you surprised me today? I mean, I'm so happy you're here, I just wondered if there was a different reason you came over."

Luan begin to crack his fingers, a nervous habit Thoma had noticed he had and he held Luan's hands and kissed his knuckles.

"If it's something stressful or it pertains to Mikey...your ex, don't worry about it." Thoma said and Luan nodded. Whatever he was about to say he seemed to decide now was not the time for it and Thoma respected his wishes.

"So, how would you like to spend the rest of the night, Lu?" Thoma asked and kissed Luan's head.

"Hmmm..." Luan said and sat up to sit opposite of Thoma. "I mean, it's random but there's a lot I still don't know about you. Like, I don't even know your birthday, you've never talked about your parents or if you have siblings. Whats your favorite color? Are you allergic to anything or is there something I've made you that you didn't like?"

Thoma laughed. "Well that was a lot of questions in succession but hmm.. let me think. My birthday is August 11th. My favorite color is probably purple. My father divorced my mom was I was 13 and remarried, so I have two half sisters. My mother has a boyfriend right now and seems to be doing rather well. I do have a brother and a sister, twins, both older."

"...What's all your familys names'?" Luan interrupted and Thoma smiled. It felt really nice to have Luan be so curious about him, even if it was just his family.

"My father's name is Julian, my mothers is Amelia. My oldest brother is named Theodore but everyone calls him Theo, and my sister's name is Dorothy, but everyone calls her Thea. They're twins and are a are still a force to be reckoned with to this day, and they made my life a living hell while I was growing up. I had a younger brother, Thomas. But he passed away due to health issues when he was still a toddler." Thoma said casually.
