Chapter 29

***WILLIAM'S P.O.V***

Shona's audition was absolutely flawless, just like her. Mann, she could sing, she hit every single note, she was so perfect, in each and every way.

She walked over to me, where I was waiting at the back of the hall where noone else was. I seen her approaching with a massive smile on her face and I was smiling just as much as she was. I held my arms out for a hug when she came over and she accepted the hug straight away.

'You were amazing beautiful.' I whispered into her ear.

'Thanks but you were definitely better.' She whispered back and I pulled away and looked at her.

'You're song was perfection, you're voice was perfection, you're piano playing was perfection, you are perfection Shona Jade Thompson.' I said only loud enough for her to hear looking into her eyes. And what I expected to happen, actually happened, she blushed bright red and looked at her feet, letting her hair cover her face.

I lifted her chin up to look at me then moved the hair out of her face. She tried to look away again but I didn't let her. She gave up and looked at me, biting her bottom lip trying to stop her from blushing. Oh my goddd, how does she manage to do this to me and no other girl has? You know what, I can't do this anymore, I gotta tell her how I feel.

'Listen Shona. I feel like I need to tell you something and I can't hold this feeling inside of me anymore.' I sighed and she looked worried. 'Its nothing bad, I promise, just hear me out okay?' I asked.

'Okay.' She said extra shyly.

'Shona, that whole three and a half minutes while I was singing, you were the one thing in my mind. That song I sang, was completely 100% from me to you, every single word. That song describes part of my feelings for you, the rest of it is too long to continue right now, but you'll know some other time, parts of my feelings I can't define or it's too hard to put into words.' I stated and she was blushing again by now and I could tell she wanted to look away but she didn't. 'Shona, everytime you blush and go all shy and look away and bite you're lip and little things like that, that's when I have to restrain myself from kissing you. To be honest, any other girl, I probably would have kissed them by now but with you, I haven't done it because I know you aren't ready for that and I don't wanna ruin things between us because I know you're different and you're worth it.' I bit my lip slightly, thinking about what to say next. I took her hands in mine and she looked down at her hands then back up to me. 'Basically what I wanna say is, Shona, I wanna be you're first real boyfriend, the boyfriend who will treat you right and give you all the moments you so badly deserve. In other words, Shona, will you make this official between us and be my girlfriend?' I asked trying not to let her look away from my eyes. She looked at me for a minute then down at our hands then back up at me.

'I'm sorry William, I don't know what to say or how to react to this.' She started and I hoped this wouldn't end badly. I hoped it would end the way I pictured it and the way I so badly wanted it to be. 'William, the answer is yes, but only on one condition.' She stated.

'Oh my goddd, seriously, anything beautiful, what is it?' I responded relieved.

'William, will you please take things slower with me than you would with other girls. I mean, its nothing against you William, its just....' I took one hand away from hers and put a single finger to lips, causing her to stop talking.

'Beautiful, its okay, I understand. And for sure, I was going to go slower with you anyways, that way things would hopefully work out better. I promise I'll take things slowly with you no matter what, you just gotta let me know whether I'm going too fast or too slow with you, okay?' I informed her.

'Thanks William, it means alot. And for sure, I'll let you know.' She responded.

I pulled her into a hug and she hid her face into my neck. I rested my chin on her head and I felt her smile.

'Wanna go for some ice-cream?' I whispered while we were still hugging.

'It depends, what time is it?' She replied not moving away from the hug. I kept one arm around her then got my phone out of my pocket and checked the time.

'It's only 4:15, so what do you say?' I responded.

'Sure, sounds great.' She answered.

We pulled away from the hug and then looked at each other before walking out the doors of the hall and over to my car. I opened the door and let her in, and she thanked me again. Every time I did this she would always say thank you, its like I made her feel special and I was so glad I did...
