***WILLIAM'S P.O.V***

We had 45 minutes before we had to leave for the hospital and stayed at the table under the shady tree the whole time. We were just chilling out, cuddleing with each other, looking out at the water, enjoying each others company for the rest of the time at the park.

'Beautiful, I'm sorry, but I think that we need to go if you wanna get to the hospital at 2:00.' I informed her.

'Okay, sure, lets go.' She responded and moved her head off my shoulder and so we could both get up. We both stood up and stretched for a minute, then I took her hand and lead her to the car. I opened the door for her as always and let her in the car before I went and got in. I drove to the nearby hospital and parked the car in a good spot before going over and letting Shona out the car, then locking my car and taking her hand, walking towards the hospitals entrance.

'Hello Shona, you're here.' Linda, the lady at the front desk said to Shona as we walked through the doors.

'Hey Linda. This is William, the friend I was telling you about yesterday.' She responded and I smiled.

She turned her attention to me. 'Hey honey, I'm Linda, its nice to meet you.'

'Nice to meet you too Linda.' I responded and shook her hand.

'Okay guys, follow me and we'll go and get these presents that you dropped off yesterday.' Linda said and I took Shona's hand and we followed Linda. Linda came out of a storage room with a trolley filled with toys wrapped up neatly. She gave the trolley to Shona and I insisted on pushing it for her. Linda went back to the front desk and Shona showed me the way to the Children's Ward. We were waiting in the elevator and I started a conversation.

'So, do you buy presents like this for them everytime you see them?' I asked.

'No, I do try and see them once a week, but I normally only bring them gifts and stuff once a month.' She responded. 'Unless one of them is really sick or about to go for tests or something like that.' She responded.

'How are you so perfect Shona?' I asked.

'I'm really not.' She answered looking away.

'Shona, what's not perfect about you?' I asked.

'What is perfect about me?' She retorted.

DING!! The elevator sounded and the doors opened to three different halls. Pink walls to the left, blue walls to the right and green walls straight ahead.

'I'll tell you later. The list is to long to go through right now, if I started, we wouldn't be able to see any of the kids today.' I informed her.

'Alright then, if you wish. So who do you wanna see first?' She asked.

'Any of them. Which one do you normally see first?' I asked.

'I normally take it in turns. And today would be Crystal, then Hayley, then, Ben, then Robbie.' She informed me. 'Then afterwards most of the sick kids go into the play room and I add some more toys to what they already have.' She continued.

'I'm good with that. Lets go.' I responded and she smiled.

We started walking down the pink hall and the first door on the left was Crystals room and right next-door was Hayleys. Shona swiped a special card and it unlocked the door. Shona pushed the door open and held it open for me so it wouldn't close as I was trying to push the trolley. She closed the door and I heard a soft child's voice, which sounded like she was gasping for breath.

'Shona, Shona.' The little girl tried her best to say. Shona's face lit up and she went over and hugged the young girl very gently as if she was fragile. 'I miss you.' She said to Shona and I smiled.
