1: Friends Before Fame. (William Singe)

Chapter 31

***WILLIAM'S P.O.V***

We started to walk across the oval and I was trying to decide whether I should take her hand or not. I was thinking about all the reasons why I should but then they would get drowned out by the reasons why I shouldn't. I mean I definitely wanted to, I just really didn't wanna scare her or go to quickly with her because I know if we ever broke up, it would definitely be my fault.

We were half way through the park and there wasn't much conversation going between us. I kept looking at her and then pretended I wasn't when she looked at me. She got annoyed in a playful way and stopped in the middle of the park and crossed her arms. I mimicked her and she tried to hold back her laughter but it wasn't working all that well. She giggled quietly and engulfed her in a hug. She hugged me back and giggled into my chest.

'What's so funny beautiful?' I asked.

'You.' She answered.

'What about me?' I asked.

'You mimicking me.' She answered.

'Really? So if I ever need to hear or see you laugh or smile then all I need to do is mimick you?' I asked.

'Yeah, that's one way of doing it.' She responded.

'Cool. I might start doing it more often then. But right now we gotta go before you're mum panics.' I said pulling away from the hug and taking her hand. I interlocked our fingers and smiled at her and she was blushing but managed to smile back. Shona and I holding hands for the first time was amazing. She was special, so this was important and this wasn't a moment I'd ever forget.

We got back to the car meaning that I'd have to let go of her hand. I opened the door for her and she thanked me as she always does before getting in. She got in then I let go of her hand and she looked upset.

'You okay beautiful?' I asked.

'Yea, I'm good.' She responded.

I smiled then closed the door and went and got into the drivers seat. I drove her to her house and parked in the usual spot. I got out and hurried to the other side to open the door for her before she had the chance. I closed the door after she got out and turned back around to look at her.

'Are you going to tell you mum about us?' I asked.

'I think I should tell her, she doesn't deserve me to lie to her.' She answered.

'That's nice of you to tell her. But what about at school though? Luke do you wanna just stay as friends at school and then let everyone find out or what?' I asked again.

'Umm, I don't know, how do you think they'll react when they find out?' She asked.

'I think some people will be happy for us and others will try and tear us apart, but you can't change that, that's just how se people are.' I replied.

'Well I'm not sure. They'll provably be the same when they do find out, even if we do leave it a while.' She responded.

'Yeah, I know. So what do you wanna do?' I asked.

'Honestly, whatever you want. They're going to be jumping to conclusions that were together anyways, so I don't see much of a difference.' She answered.

'Okay, so are you okay with letting everyone find out?' I asked.

'Yes, as long as if anything happens, like Tamika or anyone else, you'll help me out and back me up.' She stated.

'Of course I will beautiful, I stood up for you against Tamika the other day and we weren't even together then. But anyways, I'll be here for you no matter what beautiful.' I answered pulling her into a hug. She hugged me back and thanked me.

'Can I text you tonight beautiful?' I asked.

'Yeah, sure, you can text me whenever you want.' She answered.

'Cool. Thanks gorgeous.' I replied.

'I better go. Sorry.' She apologized.

'Its okay beautiful.' I kissed her cheek softly. 'Seya tomorrow.' I said.

'Bye William.' She replied.

'Seya beautiful.' I said as I let her out of my tight grip and she turned and started walking down the street. I got back into the car and started the engine and turned around. I waved to hard as I drove past and she waved back with that beautiful smile of hers....
