Chapter 53

***WILLIAM'S P.O.V***

We walked out onto the wet sand by the water, I was still hand in hand with Shona. It was pretty cold out here by the water so I let go of her hand and took off my jacket and I put it on her shoulders.

'Please keep it on Shona. Its too cold for you not to wear it.' I informed her and she smiled thankfully.

'Thank you William.' She said as she put her arms into the jacket.

'No problem gorgeous.' I replied and kissed her forehead. I took her hand and we started walking down the beach.

'Shona, can you be completely honest with me for a minute please?' I asked.

'Of course I can, I always am. What is it?' She responded.

'I just wanted to know what you thought about tonight. I mean like, was this too cheesy or was it not great or what? I just really wanna know the truth.' I stated and stopped walking so I could get her to look at me and answer.

'William. Tonight was the most amazing night of my life to be honest. Seriously, I wouldn't wanna picture my first date any other way, it was so perfect. I wouldn't have wanted to spend tonight with any other guy because no other guy could have planned tonight the way you did. Everything that you planned tonight was truely amazing and I'll never forget any of it, not one little detail or second of it.' She answered looking me in the eyes the whole time.

'Thank you so much Shona. I really did have an amazing time tonight too. I'm so glad you enjoyed yourself tonight, because seeing you happy means the world to me. It took me all week to plan this date and I wanted it to be as perfect as you, but its like what I've told you before, nothing can compete with how perfect you are. You are so perfect to me Shona and so different from every other girl. I mean you stand out to me and you're so special to me so that's why I so badly wanted my first proper date to be with you. I don't think I'll ever forget tonight either.' I stated and kissed her lips softly. She smiled and kissed my lips in return. I kissed her forehead then took her hand and we continued walking down the beach.

We had walked quite far down the beach and I seen a seat where we could hang out for a while. I guided her to the chair and we sat down beside each other. She cuddled up to me so I put my arms around her and hugged her tightly. My phone keeps vibrating in my pocket and I got it out to see who was tryna ruin my date. It was Ash, of course it was. 'Hows you're date going?' 'What are you doing now?' 'When are you coming home again?' 'When can I meet her?' 'Why aren't you replying?' Were just some of the questions she was asking, trust her to try and text me while I'm on a date. I ignored the messages and went to camera.

'Shona, lets take some pictures, I wanna remember tonight forever.' I informed her and she smiled.

'Sure, but I want you to send them all to me later.' She answered.

'Sure thing beautiful.' I replied and we started taking the pictures. We were being idiots and doing some weird faces into the camera. There was this one picture where we were making silly faces but as I pressed the button to take the picture she kissed my cheek and I was still making a silly face. That lead to us taking pictures of us kissing which lasted a while. We then took a few of us smiling together but then some single photos. I wanted to take one of her in my jacket but she would only let me take one of her if I let her take one of me after, so I agreed. We took those last few pictures and then we decided on walking back towards the car. I took her hand and walked her back down the beach and to the car.

We reached the car and I opened the car door for Shona and she thanked me before getting in. I went and got in the car and we started heading towards her house.

The car drive home wasn't that long but I wanted to drive slowly so we would be together for longer but I didn't. I just really hated being away from her, I always miss her like crazy whenever she isn't around.

'I don't want tonight to end.' She stated as if she was reading my.mind.

'Neither do I beautiful, neither do I.' I admitted as I parked the car infront of her house. I went and opened the door and let her out and as always she would thank me before getting out. I took her hand and walked her up to the door and decided to say goodbye to her then.

'So this is it. The end of out first date.' I stated.

'Yeah, I know.' She agreed.

'Don't worry about it though beautiful, I promise there will be a heap more dates with me, I'll make sure of it.' I reassured her and she smiled.

'Thank you William, it means alot.' She thanks me.

'No problem beautiful.' I replied as I pulled her into a hug. She put her arms around my neck and buried her head into my neck. I always smiled when she did this and she smiled too.

'William.' She whispered.

'Yes?' I asked.

'I just wanted to let you know that I really enjoyed myself tonight and it really made me feel super special. I just wanna thank you for everything, for offering to take me out, then making it as perfect as it was. I loved it and I really appreciated it.' She whispered.

'No problem gorgeous. I had an amazing night too. I wouldn't have wanted to spend tonight any other way or with anyone else. Thank you for agreeing to go out with me and making the date so much better because it was with you. So thank you Shona.' I replied and kissed her head.

'Thank you William.' She responded pulling away from the hug. 'I've gotta go. Andrè will be inside remember. If I walk inside one minute late he will convince my mum into not trusting me with you anymore and I really don't want that.' She informed me and I understood.

'Alright beautiful. I really hope you did enjoy yourself tonight, I know I had an amazing time. Thanks for coming with me and trusting me to take you somewhere and you didn't know where you were going. Have a good sleep tonight beautiful, if I don't text you tonight that means my parents are attacking me with questions but if that happens I'll text you first thing tomorrow morning, okay?' I asked.

'Sure. Thanks for everything tonight. It was honestly the best night of my life so far. Its okay if you don't text me tonight though because Andrè will probably make me go straight up to bed, so if I don't respond that's why, okay?' She responded.

'Sure thing beautiful.' I stated and kissed her lips softly. 'Seya.' I stated.

'Bye William.' She responded and kissed my lips. She turned to walk inside the house but I had to stop her I have to tell her something.

'Shona wait.' I stated and she looked at me confused.

'What is it William?' She asked.

'I wanna tell you something and I don't know it this is the right time to tell you or not but I'm just gonna say it anyways.' I responded then stopped to take a breath. 'Shona, I think Im in love with you'...........
