1: Friends Before Fame. (William Singe)

Chapter 69

***WILLIAM'S P.O.V***

We stayed for a bit longer and my mum and dad talked Shona and I into have one last dance before we left and we both gave in. It was the best song for Shona and I to dance to because it was one of those perfect songs for couples to dance to. I noticed mum recording us again but I still don't know why. I'll ask her later when Shona's not around, because I don't think that she has noticed yet. I kissed her again after the song finished and she seemed slightly more comfortable with it this time, which was to me a good sign. Afterwards we went back over to my parents and we headed home. Shona was clearly freezing so when we got back to my car, I got my tuxedo jacket off and gave it to her. She thanked me and I started the car and we headed home behind my parents car.

We went inside and mum and dad wanted us to head to bed pretty much straight away because it was a school night and it was nearly 11:30pm already. I waited outside my room while I let Shona get dressed first and when she opened the door she was wearing pajama pants and a singlet. She looked like she was freezing so I went over to my wardrobe and got out a long-sleeved shirt for her to wear. She thanked me and gave me a kiss before putting it on. She put it on and started playing around with it and trying to adjust the sleeves because they were covering her hands. I moved closer to her and rolled up the sleeves on the shirt she was wearing before kissing her lips softly once.

'Okay, its official, you look just as great in my clothes as you do in yours.' I complimented as I put my forehead on hers and I held her close.

'Thanks.' She managed to whisper back as her cheeks flamed red. I kissed her softly and she smiled. I went back over to the wardrobe and got our similar clothes to what Shona was wearing.

'I'm going to get dressed now so its your choice whether you stay in here or not.' I informed her as I took off my tie and started unbuttoning my shirt. I took my shirt off completely and then turned back to Shona who was staring at me without a word.

'Do you like what you see?' I asked jokingly. She couldn't speak so she just nodded her head yes.

'Glad you do, I'd be worried of you didn't.' I continued and she smiled and kissed me before walking out and shutting the door behind her. I finished getting dressed and opened the door to let her back in.

'Go lay down.' I told her and she went and sat on my bed. I closed the door and turned off the main light before sitting beside Shona and turning on the lamp next to my bed.

'So what did you really think of tonight?' I asked.

'I actually liked it. I mean our parents seemed to get along well. I had fun. We had our first dance together, wasn't that great?' She responded and I smiled.

'Yeah, it was but what about that kiss huh?' I asked hoping to hear what she really thought about it.

'That was uhh... the highlight of my night actually.' She said shyly looking away. I couldn't help but smile to myself.

'Aww that's so sweet beautiful.' I replied and cupped her face in my hands. She smiled and I smiled back before leaning in to kiss her. I kissed her with every ounce of passion inside of me. I kissed her with everything I had and I just hoped that she took it the right way. I layed her down on bed only to make her more comfortable not to take things further with her. She seemed worried but I eased up on the passion abit and she seemed to relax more. She put her hand on my arm and I put my hand on her ribcage. We stayed like this, kissing each other passionately, for a bit longer. I started to ease up with the passion and I smiled as did she before we finished the kiss. I put my forehead on hers and smiled.

'You are my everything Shona and I cannot live without you. I love you so much Shona, so much you wouldn't understand.' I stated and she blushed even more than what she already was.

'You're the same for me, William, the exact same. I love you so much more William.' She responded and I kissed her lips softly.

'Come on beautiful, lets get some sleep.' I suggested before kissing her softly one last time. I lifted up the covers and pulled them over the both of us. I pulled Shona towards me more and she rested her head on my chest and put her arms around me. I kept my arms around her and squeezed her tight.

'Hey Shona?' I asked.

'Yeah?' She answered.

'Is it okay if I hold you all night long?' I asked and I felt her smile on my chest.

'Sure, just keep me safe, okay?' She half joked, but was also half serious.

'You'll always be safe with me beautiful. I'll never let anything hurt you in any way. I promise.' I reassured her and she looked up at me with a cute innocent look.

'I love you more than anything William Anthony Singe.' She stated and I smiled.

'I love you more than anything Shona Jade Thompson.' I mimicked and kissed her one last time.

'Sweet dreams beautiful.' I stated and she smiled.

'Sweet dreams handsome.' She responsed and I smiled.

And that was how I fell asleep that night. With the girl I loved to bits, my everything, the one I hope to spend the rest of my life with, laying right next to me with my arms around her keeping her safe as I promised. I can't ever lose her nor can I ever hurt her because that would hurt me too much as well. Her and music are my life, so there's no way I can ever intentionally hurt her or put her through any kind of pain she doesn't deserve to endure. I just can't believe I found a girl as great as her, I never knew perfect girls ever existed until I met her........
