Chapter 47

***WILLIAM'S P.O.V***

The rest of the day at school went by pretty quickly and Shona and I went out for ice-cream and then to the park after school as usual. It was like our little routine or habbit that we were into and we had made a deal that we would take in it turns of who pays, she agreed to paying on Tuesdays and Thursdays and I'd pay Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

We were heading to her house and I remembered that I was supposed to be meeting her mum today after school. Maybe I should bring up Friday night to her and she might have more of a chance of letting Shona go. Maybe I should ask Shona if it's okay with her if I ask her mum about Friday.

'Umm, should I mention Friday night to you're mum or not?' I asked.

'If you want to you can, I wont stop you if you do.' She responded.

'Okay, I just wanted to check with you first.' I responded.

'Thanks for checking first.' She replied.

'No problem beautiful.' I responded and parked the car outside her house. I for out the car and opened the door for her to get out and she thanked me as usual.

'Do you wanna say goodbye now or afterwards?' I asked.

'Umm, probably afterwards if that's okay.' She answered.

'Sure. Okay, are you ready?' I asked.

'Yeah, I guess. Are you?' She replied.

'I don't know. I've never had to do this before.' I responded.

'Neither have I. We'll get through it together though, okay?' She responded trying to be comforting.

'I know we will.' I replied and she took my hand, which was a first and we started walking towards the door. She opened the door and lead me inside. I closed the door behind us and her house was amazing, and I was barely inside.

'Hey mum, William's here. He said he wanted to introduce himself to you.' She called loud enough for her to hear.

'Okay, I'm coming honey, give me two minutes.' She responded and Shona turned to face me.

'You'll be fine. I know you will, don't worry about it okay?' She tried to convince me.

'Thanks beautiful.' I responded and kissed her lips gently before her mum walked over to us.

'Hello Mrs Thompson, I'm William. Its nice no finally meet you.' I said as I shook her hand and she smiled.

'Nice to meet you too William. Thank you for coming to introduce yourself, very kind of you.' She replied and I smiled back.

'No problem.' I replied.

'Would you like something to drink?' Her mum offered and I looked at thy time.

'I'm sorry. I should really be going, my parents wont know where I am, and I don't want to worry them. Maybe next time though.' I replied.

'Its okay honey, I understand, I'm like that with Shona. Maybe next time will work out better. But I appreciate you coming in and saying hello.' She responded understandingly.

'Thanks Mrs Thompson. But may I please ask a quick question?' I asked hopefully.

'Sure William what is it?' She answered.

'Well I've already asked Shona this and she said she would have to check with you first. I was wondering if I could take Shona out somewhere nice on Friday night.' I stated and I hoped she would agree.

'Umm sure you can. Do you guys have everything worked out like where it is and the times and how you're getting there because I have work so I can't help you guys out there.' She answered.
