Chapter 81 - Last Chapter

***WILLIAM'S P.O.V***

The week passed by uneventfully and it was finally Saturday, the day that Shona and I were going to the fair/festival together. I was overly happy to be going with Shona but I was hella nervous about the news that I have to tell her today, I just hope she takes it the right way. I've overplayed what I want it to look like in my head a million times but I'm still slightly worried that something could go wrong. I just hope every thing will turn out perfectly.

I head to Shona's place to pick her up, ready to take her to the festival. Her mum gave me an asthma puffer for Shona if she needed it and I put it in my pocket so I would have it on me if she did need it. We headed to where the festival was and I could tell already it was going to be loads fun, especially with Shona around.

'What first?' I asked while she was looking around in awe.

'Anything, but nothing scary.' She answered and I took her over to a little mini game and she smiled. We had to throw a ball at a stack of cups and if we knocked them all off the podium in one hit then we would get a bigger prize. The more shots we took, the smaller the prize became. I paid for us both to have a turn and we went at the same time. I knocked them all off the podium and she only knocked three off. She had another shot and knocked another two off leaving one standing. She had one last turn and knocked it off before turning to me.

'The wind knocked yours I see.' She stated and I smiled.

'If it did yours should have fallen at the same time.' I countered and she smiled. She got to choose a small prize and she choose a Garfield toy about the size of her hand. I then choose one of the bigger prizes and it was a bear holding a heart saying I love you. I turned around to Shona playing with the little Garfield doll not even noticing what I had choosen.

'Isn't he cute?' She asked showing him to me.

'Very.' I answered.

'What did you get?' She asked trying to look at what I was hiding behind my back. She caught a glimpse of it then looked up at me giving up. I pulled the bear from behind my back and she smiled instantly.

'Will you accept me?' I said in a high voice and she laughed.

'Of course.' She answered and kissed my lips softly before I gave her the bear.

'Will you accept me?' She mimicked and I laughed as well.

'Of course.' I responded and kissed her before taking the toy from her. We then headed towards the really fast rides and she looked hesitant.

'Come on, lets just look, we won't go on them if you don't want to.' I stated and she agreed as we walked over to the rides. I would have gone on them but she wouldn't have agreed so I left it. We then headed for the bumber cars.

'Same car or seperate?' I asked.

'Neither.' She answered.

'Nawww, come on, go in the same one as me and I'll keep you safe.' I stated and she looked at me as if to say 'can I really trust you?'

'Come on beautiful, you can trust me.' I tried to convince her and she smiled.

'Fine.' She gave in and I kissed her lips softly.

'Thank you.' I stated and she smiled at me before I pay the guy to let us on the bumper cars. I let her in first and she gets in and I get in afterwards.

'You'll be fine.' I stated and she smiled. To start away with I didn't bump into anyone because I wanted Shona to relax first. Most of the other people were younger than us so I was cautious about hitting them intentionally. When we were turning the corner one of the younger ones bumped us gently before smiling cheekily and driving away. Shona and I smiled and chased the little guy and and then ended up hitting him back gently. We did this for a while before the guy stopped us cause our time was up.
