1: Friends Before Fame. (William Singe)

Chapter 23

***SHONA'S P.O.V***

We finished our ice creams and we were ready to leave. We started walking across the park oval to his car. He pushed me gently to see how I'd react so I pushed him back. As I did this he grabbed my wrists and pulled me close to him. We were extremely close and I quickly looked away not wanting him to see me blush. He breathed out heavily and laughed slightly then let me go. I think he knew I'd be blushing, but then again who wouldn't when he acted this way around you.

After a bit more walking, I decided to push William again to see how he'd react. He smiled at me then pushed me back. We did this the rest of the walk back to his car.

He opened the car door for me I thanked him as I got in. He got in on the drivers side and turned on the car and we headed towards my house. The drive wasn't that far, and rather quiet, not awkward silence though, just peaceful silence.

He parked in the same spot he has parked in for the last two days. He got out the car quickly then opened my door for me again, every single time his opened my door for me. I know it wasn't a bad thing that he was doing it, it was just that I was capable and he could let me do it every now and again. But hey, I didn't mind being around such a gentlemanly, kind hearted person.

'Thank you.' I said while stepping out of the car.

'No problem beautiful.' He replied as he shut the door then turned to face me.

'So, are you nervous about tomorrow yet?' He asked.

'Not yet, I probably wont be until school finishes.' I answer.

'Yeah, me too.' He agreed.

'I hope we both get through.' I replied.

'We will, I know we will. Don't even think like that okay?' He tried to reassure me. He wasn't the best at it but at least he tried.

'Okay.' I gave up.

'So, I have a hug before you go?' He asked seeming hopeful for me say yes.

'Sure.' I answered. He put his arms around my waist and I put my arms around his neck and rested my head slightly on his shoulder. I guessed that he was smiling at this but then he whispered something in my ear.

'You give amazing hugs Shona.' He whispered.

'I don't. You do.' I retorted.

'You do, but are we gonna really fight about hugs?' He asked.

'No, as long as we can agree that we both give good hugs.' I responded.

'You know what, fine, we both give good hugs.' He gave in.

'Yay, you agreed.' I said happily.

'Yeah, I did. I'm glad that makes you happy.' He answered pulling away from the hug and smiling at me. 'Can I pick you up at the same time tomorrow?' He asked after a minute.

'You know I can just take the train. I don't wanna make things hard by you picking me up and dropping me off everyday.' I responded.

'No, no, no. Beautiful, please listen. Trust me you don't make things hard, you make things easier. You make me wanna get up in the morning just because I know I get to see you. I really enjoy your company, you're just really cool to hang out with and really layed back and easy to talk to. I really enjoy taking you to school and then bringing you home, it really doesn't make things hard.' He answered.

'You know what? Okay, you can take me to school and then bring me back home. But only because you seem like you really want to and because you say it's not too much trouble. So yes, same time tomorrow.' I answered.

'Okay, cool. Thank you so much. I better let you go or you'll get into trouble. I'll see you tomorrow okay?' He asked.

'Thanks. I'll see you then.' I replied. And with that I turned around and started walking home. William turned his car around and waved as the drove past.

I was walked inside, said hello to mum and then went up to my room and put my bag down. I got my phone out and put it into charge. I noticed that I had two messages from my other two best friends, Mikayla and Karlee. They messaged me saying they were moving to the school I was attending and they'd be there some time in the next 3 weeks. I hadn't seen them in a while and it would be great to see them again...

I tried to make this chapter longer, I don't know if it was or not. This is the first time I've done a whole chapter that's Shona's p.o.v in ages.
