1: Friends Before Fame. (William Singe)

Chapter 70

***WILLIAM'S P.O.V***

It took me ages to finally get to sleep. I just wasn't tired with Shona near me, not that it was a bad thing. I just wanted to hangout with her and create some more great memories with her. You know, just to make some more great memories and add them to the lost that was so great already. With her by my side, I felt like the luckiest man in the entire world. I don't need anything if I have her with me, cause she is all I need to survive. She's like the air that I breathe, my oxygen, without her I'd die.

I woke up the next morning to Shona trying to get out of my grasp.

'What do you think you're doing?' I asked sleepily. 'I promised I'd hold you all night, and the night isn't over yet because I was still sleeping.' I continued.

'William, I kinda need to use the bathroom.' She responded slightly embarrassed.

'Ohh, sorry beautiful.' I apologized letting her out of my grip. 'Hurry back though, it feels weird without you close and my arms aren't around you.' I stated as she walked into the bathroom.

After about five minutes she came back into the bedroom and layed back on the bed beside me. I put the covers back over her and she cuddled up to me. I put my arms around her, exactly where they were before she had to get up.

'It's freezing.' She stated and I hugged her tighter.

'I'll hold you close and you'll warm up faster than ever, okay?' I responded and I felt her smile on my chest.

'That sounds great.' She responded while moving closer and I smiled to myself. We layed there, holding each other close until my dad came in and asked us to get up. We did the same things as last Thursday and I let her shower before me. Then I went in for a shower and she got her stuff ready because we were going to stop by her house so she could get her school stuff. We headed downstairs and helped with making the breakfast. We all sat down and enjoyed the breakfast together, like we were one big happy family. We could probably be one big happy family soon enough if everything goes as planned with our relationship. And damn, I hope it works out properly.

After breakfast we left my house and headed for Shona's. When we got there I went inside with her and her mum was home. She started apologizing for last night and explaining what happened while Shona was upstairs getting her things ready. When Shona came back downstairs we said our goodbyes to her her mum and we left for school.

The finals of the talent competition was today and I forgot about it until now. I wasn't nervous yet, I'm actually kinda getting used to performing every Friday, but once its finished its not going to feel right. Shona and I are doing a duet today. We've been practicing every afternoon at the park and even sometimes at lunch. I think we sound really good together, damn she makes me sound bad, that's how good she is. Then we have to do a single song afterwards and I still don't know what Shona is planning on singing, but she doesn't know what I'm singing either, so its fair. I just hoped she took my song the way I planned for her to.

We arrived at school and I walked Shona to her first class before going to mine. Of course I got kicked out of that stupid business class and was sent to Shona's art class so I didn't really have a problem with it. I had to sit up the back and watch Shona create artwork from a distance.

'Stop staring, you'll burn a hole straight through the poor girl.' Alexis said as she walked past me making me break my stare. Once she was gone I started staring again anyways so there wasn't much point in it anyways. Shona had made a really cool painting and it was what she was drawing the other week when I first came into her class. It was really good, I'd frame it and hang it in my room if she let me so it would just remind me of her whenever I looked at it.

The bell rang for the next class and that was the talent competition finals. I waited for Shona after class then we walked together up to the hall, where the finals were being held. We went up on stage and joined the other two competitors and Ms James. The single performances were first and the duets are afterwards. The order was Rebecca, Matthew, Shona, then me. After that it was Rebecca and Matthew's duet before Shona and I sung ours.

Ms James went out and introduced Matthew and that left Rebecca, Shona and I nervously awaiting our turn to sing. Matthew was really good and I tried my best to not start doubting myself. Rebecca went next and I could see how nervous Shona was. I tried my best to reassure her but whether or not it worked was a whole different story. Ms James called me onstage and I kissed Shona softly before heading on stage to sing. The music started playing and I hoped Shona would take this the right way....
