***WILLIAM'S P.O.V***
My mum and dad left just before I did and they said that they would just meet us in the carpark. I left the house and headed for my car just after. I tried convincing myself in the car to not be nervous but it was hella hard. I mean, it's not that I think that anything bad is going to happen, I'm just thinking about negative outcomes like Shona usually would. That's probably rubbed off from her too. Mann, I'm at her house already, I can do this.
I took a deep breath, then got out of the car and walked up to the door. I stood at the door frozen, I didn't know what to say, that's how nervous I was. I knocked on the door unwillingly only because I knew I had to. The door was opened by Shona and I didn't say anything. I couldn't say anything. I thought she looked beautiful all the time, but right now, words wouldn't describe her. She had curled her hair and was wearing the necklace I gave her the other week. She had on a beautiful light blue dress, which coincidendently matched my tie. She wore her asthma bracelet loosely around one wrist, and a charm bracelet with two charms on the other. She looked completely amazing, actually better than that. I just can't define how amazing she looked.
'Hey.' She said shyly.
'Hi.' I managed to respond.
'Are you okay?' She asked worried.
'Now that I've seen you, couldn't be better.' I answered and she blushed.
'Thanks.' She responded shyly.
'So are you guys ready to go?' Her mum asked as her and André came up behind Shona. Shona and I nodded and I took her hand walked with her out onto the path. Her mum and André kissed hee cheek and she kissed theirs back before they headed to their car. I lead her to my car and I opened the door for her and let her get in the car before I went and got in myself. Shona and I drove to the venue with her mum and André following us so they would know where to go.
'Are you alright beautiful?' I asked Shona.
'Yeah, I'm ahh just really nervous.' She responded and I nodded.
'Its okay, I am too. We'll be okay though, trust me.' I responded trying to sound convincing and she just nodded in agreement.
We continued the light conversation and we got to the venue ten minutes later, now it's time to introduce my parents to her parents and her parents to my parents. Everyone shook hands but out mums hugged as if they had known each other for years. We stayed outside and spoke for about five minutes before we headed inside where it wasn't so cold. We went inside and we were showed our table. We were sat around a circular table and it was my parents on my left and her parents on her left. We were talking about how great the food sounded and what a great atmosphere this place had. Shona and I had started our own conversation because they were talking about some adult stuff that neither of us cared about.
'So, how do you think it's going?' I asked her.
'I actually think its going okay, I mean they haven't disagreed on anything yet and I'm not so worried about it now.' She answered and I smiled.
'I agree. Things are going pretty well in my eyes. I mean I'm sitting here with the most beautiful girl I've ever seen and her parents who are getting along with my parents what more could I ask for?' I responded before kissing her softly.
'I feel the same way William, the exact same way. I never thought this night world be coming for a while, but hey, if its happening I wouldn't want it to be with anyone else but you.' She replied kissed me back in return and I smiled as we touched foreheads before kissing again.
'Aww, look at how much they love each other.' My mum ruined the moment and I smiled and rolled my eyes before moving away from Shona. They all started talking about us and I put my hand on her leg just above her knee. She put her hand om mine and we both smiled at each other.
'Have I told you how amazingly perfect you look tonight?' I whispered and I seen her smile before shaking her head no.
'Well you my dear beautiful girlfriend, you look completely one-trillion and one percent perfect tonight. You look stunning and flawless and amazing and sweet and perfect and beautiful and did I say perfect?' I said honestly then joked about the last bit. She laughed slightly and her cheeks were as red as they could ever get.
'I love you beautiful.' I stated and she smiled.
'I love you too handsome.' She responded with a massive smile on her face and I kissed her lips softly.
We ate the great food we ordered and everyone was getting to know each other better. The band started playing and they started out by playing songs you couldn't really dance to with a partner. The band swapped with another singer and I already knew who it was, Tom Jordan,a really close friend of mine. He started singing slow songs that couples could dance to, I just needed to wait for the perfect song.
'This one is for all the young lovers out there.' Tom said before he winked at me then started strumming the guitar.
'Shona.' I stated. 'Would you like to dance?' I asked hopefully and she blushed before nodding her head yes. I put my arm around her and lead her to where the couples dance, but also to where it was less crowded.
'I haven't done this before so don't judge, okay?' I said jokingly and she smiled.
'Neither have I, so don't worry.' She responded and smiled back. I put my arms around her waist and she put her arms around my neck. Damn I hope I don't screw this up...
