Ello, ello, ello. It's been six months and since I last used Wattpad - I'm not ashamed to admit I'm an Ao3 girlie now (my ao3 is IzzyHogwarts01) - but here I am. Someone asked me if I was planning on updating soon on one of my tiktoks and to be honest, without them, I wouldn't have remembered I had ever even written this fic. I've just reread the last chapter to refresh my head because I'd forgotten everything that had happened and...damn, my writing was cringy. No plot, weird characters, random storylines that were completely unnecessary to the story. I'm actually embarrassed by this fic I can't lie, but I remember how much y'all meant to me and so I guess I'm back. I'd love to tell you all that there's gonna be loads more chapters and that I'm back for good, but that would be a complete lie. Final chapter, people. Last one. I don't know if anyone's actually going to read this chapter, but I owe it to those of you who've waited half a fucking year. Merry Christmas to those of you who celebrate, good wishes to you all, goodbye <3

1984 - SEVEN YEARS LATER

The Muggle studies Professor had kept her word. She saved them. Both of them. Barty, as well, but he took some encouraging. Apparently she was close friends with someone in the ministry, they must have been pretty important seeing as the three boys were resigned from their places as Deatheaters within a working week and they were each offered a place to stay after they were each disowned from their families. None of them really understood how everything had worked out. Nor did they ever ask for an explanation, they didn't need one.

They all fought in the Wizarding War. Nobody really knows how they won, nor how Voldemort was defeated, it was all kept extremely secret but it had something to do with horcruxes. The war was long and strenuous. They lost people, but, the best part of it all, was that they saved people. If things had been different, and I hate to even think of it, but if Humphrey hadn't of taken the Professor's offer, they wouldn't have saved people. They'd have been doing the exact opposite.

I mentioned before that everything had worked out, and it really had. James and Regulus had gotten married - baffling, I know - and Lily had fallen in love with Mary MacDonald (her now fiancé). Humphrey did eventually get Milo's forgiveness and they each vowed to never let anything break them apart ever again. He did learn to grieve healthily, in the end, even if it did take him a while. Bailey's grave had a new set of flowers laid upon it each week, always a different colour to the last.

Oh, and I almost forgot. Koa, I'm sure you'll be glad to know, found himself loved and at home with Humphrey and Milo.

Sirius and Remus married the second that they were of age, Sirius and Remus Black. You may be wondering why Sirius did not take Remus' last name but the response is obvious - Sirius simply wanted to piss off his parents. And, it worked. Pissed them off so much, in fact, that they moved to France and haven't been heard from since. Rather hilarious if you think about it.

Allison and Harvin, grew up and fell in love. They're getting married next spring, to be exact, and Allie, although not everyone knows it yet, is pregnant. With all their uncles and aunts (Remus, Sirius, Regulus, James, Humphrey, Milo, Peter, Lily, Mary etc) the baby will be cherished forever, and will never live a single day of neglect.

Good and bad come hand in hand. You can't have one without the other. They all understand that now. Without the darkness of their childhoods they couldn't have had the peaceful and joyous futures that they were destined.

They all understood that now.

THE END.
