HEY, BABES! DO Y'ALL ACTUALLY LIKE IT WHEN I REPLY TO ALL OF YOUR COMMENTS, OR IS IT ANNOYING? PLEASE, TELL ME.
BY THE WAY, SO THAT YOU DON'T GET CONFUSED DURING THIS CHAPTER, IF YOU ARE IN ADVANCED POTIONS, YOU ARE DOING POTIONS WORK FROM THE YEAR ABOVE YOU. FOR EXAMPLE, YOU COULD BE A 4TH YEAR STUDENT, BUT BECAUSE YOU ARE IN ADVANCED POTIONS, YOU WILL BE IN THE 5TH YEAR CLASSES. I HOPE THAT MAKES SENSE xx

"Well...well...well..." The sorting hat mumbled, "So many options...so many options...you have courage, child, you're effortlessly intelligent, you're cunning and clever. Your heart...it's warm...you have a good heart."
"Slytherin, please." Allison whispered softly, fidgeting on the stool, "Please."
"I'm sorry, child. I'm afraid that this cannot be so. You...Allison Chambers, are a RAVENCLAW!" She froze. Her eyes tearing up. Humphrey abruptly rose from his seat and sprinted to the front, trying to get to Allison. Hagrid held him back as McGonagall rushed the now crying girl out of the hall.
"Let me see her! For fuck's sake, let me see her!" Hagrid was clearly struggling to hold him away, and that was saying something.
Regulus knew what being in Ravenclaw would mean for this little girl. She would be punished. Just like Sirius. Regulus got up too, but this time it was to pull Humphrey away.
"Chambers. No. Come away. Humphrey, come on. We'll sort something out. She'll be okay. Let's go." After a minute more of struggling, Humphrey finally gave in and ran out of the hall with wet tears on his cheeks.
Deciding to give him space, Regulus made his way back to his seat beside Bailey. Her eyes were wide and the hall was silent, everyone staring at him. Bailey stuffed her face into Regulus neck when the sorting continued. Regulus would have to bring some food up to their dorm for Humphrey.
I guess I was right this time.

"She can't be a fucking Ravenclaw, she can't be! She's Slytherin - the hat's bloody wrong. That hat's always fucking wrong." Humphrey was pacing back and forth through their dorm as Regulus unpacked his trunk, setting everything out in its usual place. "I mean- Allie isn't a Ravenclaw!"
Regulus finished making his bed before he collapsed down onto it. "Need to eat that." He said, nodding towards the plate of food still laying on Humphrey's bedside table.
"I can't eat right now, Reg! She's 11! I'm not just going to let her live like this! Her parents are no better than mine or yours, don't underestimate the things they'll do to her."
"Sorry." With a frown, Humphrey came over and slumped down onto the bed next to him.
"Don't be sorry, it's not your fault." He sighed and ran his hands through his hair, "Everyone thinks I'm some angry freak now, don't they?"
"No, no. Definitely not. You were trying to protect your cousin, there's nothing wrong with that."
"He's right." Regulus groaned and rolled his eyes.
