Hey Baby Brother,

How are you doing? How're the twins? Is Miss Chambers alright? If not, I can come and rescue you, running away is a talent of mine. How am I? Oh, I'm doing splendidly, dear brother! Remmy arrived yesterday, he has a cold. It's quite cute actually, he keeps doing these little sneezes that makes his face go all pink and adorable.

Pete's coming on Christmas Eve, he's not allowed to stay, though, which is a bummer. I wish you were here, as much as I love Remus, I miss your weird, sarcastic comments.

Urgh, Remus wants to know if you have any book recommendations? I dunno where Potter is but I'm sure he says 'hi'. Still mad at him, for your information. And I will be until you tell me exactly what happened.

I LOVE YOUUUUUU!!!!

The best brother on the whole planet.

Regulus tugged his coat closer to himself as he read and reread Sirius' letter over and over again from his seat at the top of a large oak tree. If he was honest, he missed his brother too. Having Bailey and Humphrey with him all day was great and all, but there was just something about being with Sirius that made him all giddy. He was just glad that they had finally made up after all this time, he really was. Sirius was his safe space, and he always would be.

"Hey, Reg." Humphrey huffed out, reaching the branch Regulus was perched on. "Bloody hell, that was tiring. You do that everyday?"

Reg chuckled to himself. To be fair, it was extremely high up, and climbing in this temperature definitely wasn't easy. He had found this tree the morning after he had arrived and had visited it every day since.

"It's Christmas Eve Eve Eve today, y'know?" Reg turned to the boy at his side with a raised eyebrow.

"Saying 'the 22nd of December' is much easier than saying 'Christmas Eve Eve Eve'. You do know that, right?" Humph rolled his eyes at that and leaned his back against the trunk of the tree.

"Of course I know that, I'm not stupid but-" Regulus couldn't help but snort at that comment, scrunching up his face in an attempt not to burst out laughing. "Oi, shut it!"

"I'm nOt sTuPid bUt." Reg teased, failing to hold in his laughter and letting it all out.

"Okay, maybe I'm a little bit stupid-"

"A little bit? Humphrey, you thought that blueberries and grapes were the same thing yesterday..."

"Fuck off, Black!" Humphrey's face was now red from embarrassment, but when asked about it he simply blamed it on the cold.

"What're you laughing about? It's lunch time!" Bailey yelled from the bottom of the tree, at least fifteen metres below them.

"Ah, B! Is Rey stupid?"

"Very much." Said boy groaned, throwing the ball in his hands down at his sister.

"What's that?" Regulus asked, inspecting the black and white patterned ball.
