Mike sat on the sofa, his arms wrapped around his knees with his head laying on top of them as he stared at the front door of their hideout. All the other kids were in their rooms, sleeping while the older ones were huddled around in a side room discussing what they needed to do next in order to get Will back. He felt guilty for what had happened to Will. He knew that it wasn't his fault that they lost Will but at the same time, it felt like he did. He should of held onto Will's hand till they actually reached that clearing not before. If he only knew now what he knew then. If only he could change it somehow, somehow had been born with a gift to reverse time.
"You got to stop blaming yourself, Mike."
Mike shot his head up to find Nancy walking out of the side room and towards him. She sat down on the sofa beside him.
"Maybe if I had held on a bit longer..." Mike started to suggest when Nancy reached out her hands and cupped his hands in hers.
"Mike, it's not your fault. No one knew we were going to lose Will. But don't worry, we'll find him soon enough." Nancy assured him.
"But what if we don't find him?" Mike asked her. Nancy sighed then opened her mouth to say something when the sound of gravel being overturned caused them to shoot their gazes at the door. Through the new windows they could see headlights flooding through them.
"What is that?" Mike asked as Nancy shot up to her feet and rushed over to the windows. She gave a little peer through them before ducking down, cursing under her breath.
"Mike! Get in the back room!" Nancy ordered him.
"But Nance--"
"MIKE! BACK ROOM! NOW! STEVE!" Nancy repeated herself as she ran back towards him and began to lightly shove him towards their bedrooms. Just as they were about to enter the bedrooms, Billy, Eddie, Steve, Jonathan, and Robin came rushing out of the other room.
"What's going on?" Steve asked.
"There's someone outside." Nancy told him while she began to shuffle Mike to the bedrooms only to be face to face with the others coming out of the rooms with sleepy heads and tired eyes.
"We heard shouting through the walls... why is everyone shouting?" Max asked while she rubbed her eyes. As Steve, Robin, Eddie, Billy and Jonathan were rushing around, moving furniture against the front door, Nancy was motioning for the kids to return to their groups.
"Kids, back to your rooms. You guys let us deal with it." Nancy ordered them as she pushed Mike into the group.
"What's going on?" Dustin asked.
"No more questions, just everyone get--" Nancy was cut off by the sound of a set of doors opening and shutting echoing through their house.
"Who is that? Could it be Will?" El suggested as she tried to push away from the group.
"Everyone in their rooms, right now! I will not be saying this again!" Nance ordered them. The kids began to argue with Nancy saying how unfair it was. Nancy opened her mouth to speak when a loud inhuman growl echoed through the air, causing Nancy to turn to see Billy storming up towards them.
"Nancy just told you little shits to get in your rooms! Do it right now! If I any of you guys try to get out of those rooms without any of us giving the okay, I'll knock each one of you guys' teeth out!" Billy shouted to them before pushing the kids into the bedrooms then slamming the door. As he was turning around, he locked eyes with Nancy's glare.
"What?" Billy asked.
"You didn't have to threaten them." Nancy shot at him as she hurried over towards the door.
