"WE COULD HAVE DIED!" Dustin screamed.

"He was out of control! He nearly ran off the road!" Mike yelled.

"He screamed at Max all because she dared to suggest seeing her mom. That's not cool of him to do." Will told them.

"He then sped up when Max didn't answer him about promising that she would stay and almost ran over Troy and his friend. " Lucas complained.

"Troy and his friends already hated us, now after this they're going to want us dead!" Mike shouted.

"WE COULD HAVE DIED!" Dustin repeated.

"I know Billy might not be happy with his mom being around and he has the right to deal with it however he wants... but he shouldn't be telling Max how she should be dealing with it." Will suggested.

"WE COULD HAVE DIED!"

"You already said that, Dustin." Steve said while avoiding looking up at Nancy, who was glaring him down, "I-- I'm sorry you guys had to go through that. We didn't think it would be this big of a problem--"

"WE COULD HAVE DIED!" Dustin screamed again.

"WE KNOW!" Steve, Nancy and Jonathan screamed back. Just then the door burst opened as Robin and Eddie running it.

"We came as soon as we got the message. Is it true?" Robin asked as her eyes were opened wide.

"Yeah-- Billy snapped." Jonathan mumbled.

"He didn't just snap! He could have hurt the kids, let alone could have gotten charged with attempted murder." Nancy spat at them, "We need to confront him."

"NO!" The boys screamed.

"We're already going to have to deal with Troy trying to attempt to murder us, we don't need  Billy on our tails as well." Lucas pleaded.

"Guys calm down. Billy isn't going to kill your guys." Nancy tried to assured them.

"Explain what happened in the car then?!" Dustin shot at them.

"Everyone breathe!" Jonathan ordered them, "We have more important stuff to deal with now. Remember tomorrow is Saturday, and what do we do on Saturdays?"

Everyone began another round of curses. Saturday was the day the scientists had agreed to have the kids  come in for their weekly training, which kind of pissed the kids off since it should be the day they can have fun. Honestly, they didn't want anything to do with the scientists, but then again if it allows them to actually live outside the lab and be with people that actually care for them then it was worth having to deal with.

"But we have tons of homework to do." Mike told them.

"Well-- then you all are going to have to do it all tonight or Sunday." Nancy told them.

"But we have DnD tonight! And Sunday we were going to the old steelworks building to continue working on it." Will told them. It was taking them a little longer than they anticipated (even with their own powers) because they've been trying to make sure it was secret and also they keep trying to figure out what they would like to add it. So far they developed a kitchen, living room, two large bedrooms that are big enough to have multiple beds perfectly spaced out to all them to have their own area for the person who was living in that bed. They also were figuring out where they could set up a Radio Room so they could speak with each other if they got separated with each other. Dustin had brought it up when they joined the AV Club.

"I guest you guys better start working on your homework then." Nancy told them as she turned on her heels as she hurried into the other room. Steve stood up from his seat as he followed behind her. He peered around the corner to find Nancy picking up the phone as she started dialing.

"Nance... Nancy, what are you doing?" Steve asked though he had a pretty good idea of what she was doing.

"Nothing," Nancy lied while she finished dialing the last number before waiting for the other line to be picked up. Steve roughly hit his fingers on the the base where the phone would rest, causing an end to the call.

"Steve!"

"I know you're trying to call Billy. First of all, he's probably on a date with his latest fling and secondly, I doubt you confronting him about this is going to work. Especially on the phone.  You know how stubborn he can be." Steve reminded her.

"But Steve, if we don't confront him about this, he'll probably do this again... and probably might hurt one of them." Nancy argued with him.

"I understand your concern, but I doubt yelling at him is going to solve shit. He'll probably grow even more distance from us and I doubt you want that." Steve suggested to her. She sighed before she set it on the receiver.

"Then please, by all means, Steve tell me what do we do?" Nancy asked him. Steve opened his mouth to say something when he closed it.

"I honestly don't know." Steve admitted, "But lets deal with it tomorrow... right now, let the kids return home and deal with things. We do have to deal with the damn bastards in the lab again."

Her eyes widened as the tips of her lips tilted upward. Uh-Oh, Steve thought to himself as he knew that look far too well.

"Nancy... Nancy, don't do it... don't do what you are thinking about." Steve pleaded with her.

"You don't know what I'm even thinking, Steve," Nancy said, batting her eyes innocently to try and hide what she was thinking. Steve shook his head, not falling for what Nancy was trying to push aside.

"Nancy, I love you... but I know when you are thinking of doing something and it's usually something crazy." Steve mentioned to her. Nancy waved her hand at him.

"Am not."

"Nance... promise you're not going to do anything stupid." Steve said. Nancy frowned at her while she crossed her arms in front of her chest.

"Nancy?"

"Alright, alright, I promise not to do anything stupid." Nancy promised him.

"Nancy..."

"Yes?"

Steve shot his hand out and took hold of Nancy's hand to see her fingers unbinding themselves from being crossed. Nancy sighed before rolling her eyes.

"Okay-- I promise not to do anything stupid." Nancy repeated herself before grabbing her purse, "Mike, come on, we got to go home now."

Nancy made her way to the living just as Jonathan was walking into the kitchen. Jonathan and Steve stood there and watched as Nancy and Mike vanished through the front door. Jonathan turned his head towards Steve.

"You do know she's going to still try something right?" Jonathan said. Steve sighed.

"Yeah-- I know." Steve mumbled.

"Well, Will and I better get going. And I'll take Lucas home; his place is on the way to ours. See you tomorrow, Steve." Jonathan said while making his way towards the front door.

"Bye guys! See you tomorrow," Dustin told them as he watched them get into their cars. As soon as they made their way out of the drive, Dustin began to make his way inside. However, his attention shifted when he heard the rustling of the trashcans. What the hell, Dustin thought to himself as he began making his way towards them. Carefully, Dustin picked up the lid and peered inside. His eyes widened.

"Oh shit..."
