"You want to raise it?" Mike asked after Dustin explained his entire plan of raising Dart as they were leaving middle school, "you don't even know what it is?"

"Yeah-- but what if Dart ends up useful. He might even grow to be huge! Like the size of a pitbull! He could become like a guard dog or something!" Dustin stated, excitedly while he began listing up other situations Dart could become useful to them. Everyone decided to keep quiet and allowed Dustin to continue talking about Dart.

Will was the most quiet of the bunch. He didn't know how to speak up. He wasn't sure if what he was thinking about was true or not. However, he couldn't ignore the fact it looked strangely like a smaller version of the Demogordon. But he didn't want to risk being wrong and them becoming more worrisome about him... yet if he was right... he didn't know what to do. So he remain silent as they began making their way to the end of the parking lot, wondering what was he should do.

"Don't even think about it." Billy told Robin as they were walking out of the high school. Robin shot a look in his direction.

"What are you talking about?" She asked him.

"You were staring over at her... Madison.... I think it that's her name." Billy said while pointing over to the parking lot. Robin followed back to see the girl she had been looking at before. She was standing beside her car with a few of her friends as they were chit-chatting with each other about something humorous.

"Is it wrong to look?" Robin asked while she shifted her gaze at her shoes.

"Not really. Boys don't get shamed when we look at a girl like that. But I don't think they are going to like it if you do it." Billy pointed out to her. Robin sighed while she kicked the rocks beneath her feet.

"I know I have to be careful... but I don't want to be alone for the rest of my life." Robin admitted to her. It was finally good to have someone to talk to about all of this, and who better than the guy who seemed to be getting almost all the girls' attention. She didn't understand why, but girls flocked around Billy or try to shoot a glance at him and try and get his attention. And Billy wouldn't even do anything except walk in or out of a room and they were there. Though she won't admit it, Robin was a tad jealous.

"I understand. The problem is you need to first find information on the girl. Make sure she is in fact like you." Billy advised her. Robin nodded in agreement. Of course,  she was going to have to go full detective mode if she was planning on being with someone. She started to wish she had been born a guy so she didn't have to deal with any of this trouble.

"I know. But how do you find--" Robin started when....

"Hey!"

Billy and Robin turned to see Steve and Eddie running to catch up to them.

"What's the rush? You guys in a somewhere to be or something?" Eddie asked once they reached them.

"No, heading to the car. Where's Jonathan and Nancy?" Billy questioned them.

"Not entirely sure. Just Nancy told us she had something to do after school and to pick up Mike if we could." Steve explained, "Probably something to do with the paper."

Robin was confused because she didn't remember Nancy mentioning about doing something for the paper unless... oh no! Robin began remembering what had happened earlier with that man and the teacher. Nancy hadn't gone off to meet the strange man... did she? Oh no, Nancy what have you done, Robin thought to herself.

"Robin? ROBIN!"

Robin shot her head up to see the three of them looking at her with concern.

"Huh?" she spoke.

"You seemed to space out there. Something you want to talk about?" Steve asked her. Robin shook her head.

"It's nothing. Just some homework, I remembered... uh-- we should be going and picking up the kids." Robin told them as she shot down the parking lot like a bullet. She was sure she was worrying over nothing. Nancy wouldn't do anything so stupid... right?

(earlier that day)

Jonathan had been peacefully developing his photos he took for his art project when the door burst open. It slammed right up against the wall, a booming thud echoed, causing him to nearly drop push everything off the table. He spun around to see Nancy standing in the doorway.

"Nancy! Close the door! You'll ruin the pictures!" Jonathan shouted at her.

"I'm sorry," Nancy told him. She shut the door behind herself before she walked towards him. "Jonathan I think I have an idea to make those people at the lab pay for what they did to us."

Jonathan narrowed his eyes while placing a photo on the string to dry.

"What are you talking about?" he asked her as he went to pick up another one.

"I'm saying, I found someone to help us get the word out for what they have done." Nancy cheered, smiling from ear to ear. Jonathan bit his lip to stop himself from saying something to upset her. He knew what happens when Nancy gets her ideas. She becomes single-minded on the that idea until it either ends up the way she wants or it becomes a dumpster fire. And frankly, Jonathan didn't want to end up in another dumpster fire.

"Nance, I think whatever it is you are thinking of doing, you should drop it." Jonathan told her.

"Why? Don't you want to get back at these people for what they did to us?" Nancy asked him.

"Of course I do!" Jonathan admitted to her, "Everyone does. But we right now have a sweet deal where they are not going to treat us a little better."

"Right now. But these guys are probably looking for a way to take us away from our new homes and families sooner or later." Nancy told him.

"You don't know that."

"Oh, I do! The moment they found out about Mike and me, they tried to buy my Mother to let us go with them. When she refused, they just shot her in our living room and stoled us away. Worst, they made it look like she killed herself... and people actually believed that shit!" Nancy spat, tears forming on the edges of her eyes. Jonathan reached over to her, taking her hands into his.

"I know. They did some horrible stuff. They did some horrible things to Will and me. But we shouldn't declare war with someone we probably don't have a chance of winning." Jonathan suggested to her, "Sure. We have powers, but they aren't afraid to send in more and more men. Even if it meant bringing in everyone to fight against us. I don't want to have to live my life hiding, running and fighting for the rest of my life."

For a moment, Nancy didn't respond to him. However, the look in her eyes made him know she wasn't happy with what he told her. Nancy practically ripped her hands from his as she backed away from him.

"Fine," She hissed, "I'll do it myself."

Without another word, Nancy turned on her heels and rushed out of there. Jonathan sighed and turned to go back to work... but he sighed again then began grabbing his photos and shoving them into his bags before running after her, praying whatever craziness she thought of won't hurt them in the end.
