"OH SHIT!" All the moms said after Susan had revealed to them the events that had happened last night. They were huddled around in the park for their lunch break from their work. Even though she was there to witness it all herself, Susan still was having a hard time with the very thought that her new neighbor was in fact Billy and Max's biological mother. How the hell did that happen?

"That's not even the worst of it. I happened to saw where she was going when she left... she lives right in front of my house! She's right across the street! Billy and Max are going to be seeing her everyday!" Susan stated to them as she was tugging at her hair, "What do I do? I can't afford to move to a different house, but at the same time, it's clear just the thought of her being there is going to not only drive me crazy, but Billy and Max as well!"

"I don't know. I've never been in that kind of situation. Hell! I never would have thought of this situation ever happening." Karen claimed to her.

"Also Max and Billy might get upset if you do that." Sue suggested, "They'll think you might be keeping them away from her."

"Speaking of those two... How are they taking it? That must have shocked them as much as it did you." Claudia asked while pouring some tea for everyone.

"Oh Max was indeed shocked. She had to double check to make sure it was really her mother in front of her... Billy, on the other hand, was furious. So furious he dragged Max and himself to their room and he would not come out for dinner or allow Max out as well. But I think she was so in shocked, she couldn't eat."  Susan explained.

"This is just great. They're alright going through an adjustment with trying to be like normal kids. Now they have to deal with that? That seems so unfair." Karen mumbled.

"That won't be the hard part..." Joyce claimed then turned towards Susan, "Do you know if maybe the kids might... you know, want to talk with her."

Susan's eyes widen.

"Oh shit! I'm not prepared for that." Susan mumbled.

"Well-- you might have to. I'm sure Max and Billy are going to want to have a talk with her and ask her some personal questions... like where has she been? or even why did she abandon them? and other things like that." Joyce warned her.

"Oh that's not the worst part," Karen mumbled, "What if she might want to take them back?"

Susan spit out her tea as her eyes shot over to Karen.

"Whoa! Whoa! Wh-why... why would she want to take them back?" Susan asked, "I mean she's been away for most of their lives. Why would she want anything to do with them now?"

"Guilt. Also now that she is away from Neil, who's been abusing them, that she'll feel safe to raise them again? I don't know." Karen suggested, "But I doubt she could take them back now that you've adopted them."

"In most cases no she can't, but I've heard some cases biological parents were able to reclaim their kids back if they can prove if it was under fraud or duress." Claudia claimed, "I doubt she can find a way to claim the kids back now that you are their legal guardian."

"Also I doubt the kids want anything to do with her really... I mean, Max might want to ask questions like Joyce said, but it sounds like Billy does not want anything to do with her." Sue suggested.

"Oh! You should have seen his face, I thought he was about to strangle her." Susan stated.

"I think the best advise is have a chat with them and see what they want to do with it. Maybe even talk with her about setting up a meeting for the three." Joyce suggested.

"That is if she wants to." Sue said, "I mean like Susan said, she abandon them with a man, who abused them until Billy-- took care of him-- then they spend how many years alone with each other until they were found by Dr. Brenner and all them."

"I don't know what to do. I don't want to get in their way in case they want to speak with her... but like you said, she might not want anything to do with them or the kids might not want anything to do with her. Honestly-- it's a bit of a headache." Susan admitted.

"I say talk with them. First see what they want to do." Joyce suggested, "We don't have anything to worry about just yet. I mean they probably are still surprise by the whole thing. Maybe we're already making a big deal out of nothing. Like we've been saying, the kids might not want anything to do with her. And if they do, they probably just have some questions and want answers. Nothing more than that."

Susan sighed.

"You're right. I just have to take some time with the kids and talk with them." Susan said calmly.

"Joyce!"

Everyone turned to see Farmer McCorkle walking up towards them.

"Hi, Eugene. Everything alright?" Joyce asked him.

"Not really, I need to speak with Hopper. He wasn't in his office." He claimed, "Something strange is happening with my crops. I think some punk kids are putting something in my tank to mess them up. You know with Halloween being around the corner and all."

"Oh no," Sue said.

"It looks like something out of those weird sci-fi movies, you know. It is very weird. So if you could tell Hopper to swing on over, that would be great." he asked her.

"Of course, I will." She assured him. Eugene mumbled a thanks before leaving them alone to their own thoughts about it.
