Nancy and Jonathan were sitting in the living room, trying to not worry too much about their friends, but it was easier said than done. Of course, the young ones were harassing them with questions of where the others were and what was going on and who the strange woman was and if she was really trustworthy. Nancy attempted to answer all their questions as best as they could, but it was hard to answer all them. So, unable to handle most of them, she send the kids to their rooms again till the others returned from their mission.

An hour or so had pass when suddenly they watched a couple of cars driving up the driveway. The sight of them caused Nancy and Jonathan to jump from their seats as they peered out at the driveway.

"Oh shit! Are those the scientist?" Nancy asked, rushing behind Jonathan. Jonathan walked up to the window as he peered through the window.

"No, I see our friends... but I don't know who the other people that are coming up behind them." Jonathan told her, "Shit there's tons of them."

"What do we do?" Nancy asked.

"I'm not sure." Jonathan admitted. The door shot open. Jonathan rush in front of Nancy to protect her. They watched as their friends walked in followed by the strangers, who were now gazing around their hideout.

"Guys? What's all this?" Jonathan asked, pointing to all the adults.

"It's okay, guys. They're here to help us." Robin assured them.

"Still have doubts about that." Billy mumbled under his breath while he moved over to the couch.

"Um-- hi, you must be Nancy and Jonathan, correct?" a man in a police uniform asked them.

"Yeah, who are you?" Nancy asked them.

"Nance, this is Jim Hopper, he's Joyce's husband. Then you have Claudia, Susan, Sue and Charles with their daughter, Erica, Ted and Karen with their daughter, Holly." Robin said, reciting them like an old lullaby. Everyone slowly raised their hand and gently waved towards them.

"They have a plan to help us move into town without arising any suspicion." Steve declared to them.

"And how do they propose to do that?" Nancy asked them.

"Well-- they-- uh-- they--uh--" Steve mumbled while fumbling with fingers.

"Go ahead, big shot. Tell her, what's the big idea?" Billy spat at Steve, who turned around and shot Billy a glare.

"What's he talking about, Steve?" Nancy asked, crossing her arms over her chest.

"Well-- they want us to move into their homes and pretend to be their relatives... but the catch is... we need to um--" Steve began saying before getting completely quiet.

"We need to what?" Nancy asked.

"We need to um--" Steve mumbled a little louder but not quite loud enough.

"What? Steve, just say what we need to do." Jonathan demanded Steve to speak.

"WE NEED TO SEPARATE INTO SMALL GROUPS." Steve blurted out before slapping his hands over his lips. Nancy's eyes widened as her bottom lip dropped against her chest. She opened her mouth to speak when...

"Separate?"

They turned around to see the kids in the door frame, staring at them in shock.

"Back in your rooms, now. Right now," Billy ordered while he hopped off the sofa and hurried over to close the door to their bedroom.

"Wait, Billy let them out. This concerns them too." Nancy told him. He looked at her like he was waiting for her to reconsider. When she didn't, he grumbled under his breath before opening the door and motioning for them to walk out. One by one, the kids formed a line and proceeded to walk over towards Nancy and Jonathan.

"Hi guys," Hopper spoke, waving his hands at the kids, "I'm officer Jim Hopper, but you all can call me Hop and these are some good friends of mine. We're here to help you guys get a good home and be taken care of from now on."

The kids stared at Hopper for a few seconds before Max turned towards Nancy.

"What do you mean by 'separate'?" Max asked her. Nancy cleared her throat then shot a look at Steve, demanding he explain it to her. Steve lowered himself to Max's level.

"You see, Hop wants us to break up into small groups and go with each of his friends and pretend we're relatives of theirs." Steve explained to them, "But we're not going to stop seeing each other, we'll still be together. Some of us will just be under different houses. That's all."

"You guys can even have sleep overs when you want," Joyce blurted out, "Or hang out with each other. We promise you'll still be able to see each other and hang out with each other."

"But who goes with who?" Mike asked them.

"Well--" Joyce mumbled, "Are any you guys actual siblings? We'll love to keep you guys together if so."

"Uh-- Billy and Max, Jonathan and Will, and Mike and myself are biologically siblings," Nancy explained to them.

"Okay-- Mike and Nancy, you guys can be with Karen and Ted," Joyce suggested as she pointing over at Karen and Ted, who waved their hands, "Billy and Max can be with Susan. Will and Jonathan can be with Hop and myself. Who does that leave?"

"Lucas, El, Eddie, Robin, Dustin, and Steve." Max blurted out.

"Right, Claudia, how many can you take?" Joyce asked.

"Three," Claudia answered.

"You can take Dustin, Steve, and Robin." Joyce claimed, "Hop and I can also take El. Sue and Charles, you take Lucas... and Susan do you think you can take Eddie?"

"Yeah sure." Susan claimed.

"Alright, that take cares of everyone. Are you guys okay with that?" Hopper asked them. The kids all looked at each other, like they were silently discussing about the entire thing before turning back to face them and--
