The bell rang, indicating the end of my school day after my tenth period. It was now 16:30 in the afternoon, and I was so tired that I was scared to fall asleep on the train on my way home and miss my station; which wouldn't be the first time.

"See you tomorrow." I mumbled to Emma, who said goodbye as well before getting on her bike. Lucky her just lived about 5 minutes away by bike.

Putting in my AirPods i made my way to the station close by, catching the next train by a matter of seconds. I wouldn't have to wait long for the next, but still.

Sitting down in the far end of the wagon, I noticed I had received a new message from Jude.

Jude

Twenty minutes later, I sat in Jude's car as he drove us to the closest McDonalds. Brent Faiyaz was playing in the background, who happened to be one of my favorite artists. When I told him, he had wanted to know some more about my music taste, which is what we were talking about right now.

"I think Sza was my top artist last year." I revealed, making him gasp dramatically.

"I think I'm in love with you." He joked, making me laugh too. "Mine was Dave."

"UK rap, I should've known." I said, making him turn to look at me since we currently stood at a red light.

"What's that supposed to mean?" He asked, brow raised as he seemed genuinely offended.

"Just saying. You're british, I'm German. Have you ever heard german rap?" I inquired, him shaking his head in response.

"Oooh, give me your phone." I pushed, him handing me my phone from the middle console.

"Password's 2005."

"A birth year, how original." I giggled, unlocking his phone before opening Spotify.

"It's my brothers." He explained, gaining my attention. We hadn't talked about family yet.

"What's his name?"

"Jobe. He's playing football too." He told me, making me nod.

"Where?"

"Back home, in Birmingham."

"I hope he gets better than you, so that you're finally getting humbled." I joked, earning a dirty look from Jude before I finally found the song I was searching for. 'Angels sippen' by Symba started playing.

"This one's a banger, I don't accept another opinion." I stated, quietly singing along to the lyrics.

"It's not too bad." He admitted, side eyeing me with a small smile.
