"Are you drunk?" I asked, trying to resist laughing as I eyed my boyfriend, who clearly had a drink too much.
He was leaning against a railing, from where you had a overview of the dance floor since we were currently located on the second floor of the club, which was a basically more secluded area.
Gio had dropped me off here while he went looking for Sofie and Khai. God knows where Karim was.
I've never seen him drink before, and I didn't think he was much of a drinker at all. But i guess he let loose tonight, which i think he deserved. He can be a little too hardworking and disciplined, so I was glad to see that he had put his fun first tonight.
"Maybe." He slurred slightly, but the grin that was permanently plastered onto his face gave away that he was more drunk that he'd like to admit.
"Lightweight." I teased with a shake of my head, which just made him grin even wider.
I myself might've also had a few drinks, but unlike him, I'm used to drinking alcohol and therefore have a higher toleration. Which isn't something to be proud of, but it's just something that sort of comes with growing up here.
"What happened with your shirt?" I questioned, much more myself than him as I eyed the button up that was now not so buttoned up anymore; the first few of them being undone revealing a good part of his chest.
I reached up to fix them with furrowed brows. The last thing we needed was new pictures where he didn't only look drunk out of his mind, but like he had acted like it too.
Jude had other ideas though, because I suddenly jumped at the slightly wet sensation of his lips on my neck. I hadn't noticed him leaning in since my head was bending downwards in concentration, and it was pretty dark in here.
I had to stop myself from sighing when he went for my most sensitive spot, I didn't want to give him the satisfaction of getting a reaction out of me.
"Jude..."
His hands then went from holding my hips to straight up grabbing my ass, making me finally loose my focus on the buttons just as I guess he wanted.
Me flatly laying my hands against his chest made him pull back, droopy eyes meeting mine for a moment before he leaned in to kiss me.
I didn't think twice about kissing him back, but he soon turned it into a whole make out.
I know that we probably shouldn't do this here out of all places. Gio or Karim could show up any minute now, and there's other people that are always watching. But I honestly didn't care, and I'd take a bold guess and say he didn't either.
I kind of needed the distraction now, since I was still traumatized from Kelce.
My hands reached up and cupped his face to draw him closer to me before running them through his hair, and I felt his knee gently part my legs-
"Yo!" Gio's voice yelling from somewhere behind me made us pull back from each other, Jude sighing in annoyance as he kept his head down. "Continue this at home, we wanna leave!"
"Come on, he sounds like he's about to riot." I commented, making Jude giggle before I stepped back and grasped his hand to gently pull him along; expecting he'd be a little unsteady.
"Wait." He suddenly stopped me by saying, making me face him again with a confused expression on my face.
"What's wrong?"
"I, uh, can't right now." He mumbled, looking down at the floor instead of my eyes.
"Jude, they're waiting for us." I restated, trying to usher him along by tugging at his hand, but he wouldn't budge.
"Just give me a minute to... calm down." Even over the blaring music, I heard the hint of embarrassment in his voice, causing me to furrow my brows impossibly further as I followed his line of vision - and was met with his hands shielding his crotch. Oh.
Kind of flattering that he has to avoid eye contact with me, though.
Luckily, he eventually did calm down, and we made it outside after another five minutes of trying to fight our way through the crowd without Jude loosing his balance.
"Where's the rest?" I asked Gio, who was the only one still there.
"Karim and Khai left a while ago, and I just called Sofie a taxi home." He explained, eyeing Jude with a critical look before I brought his attention back to me.
"Why didn't you go home with her?"
"I have to make sure Mr. Lightweight over there doesn't break a bone or two trying to get into his apartment. Wouldn't want him to fall flat for the rest of the season." He pointed at Jude, making me laugh as I pointed at Gio.
"I called him that too!" I think this was the first time we weren't annoying the shit out of each other.
"I'm right here." He complained, making me pat his back sympathetically as we continued waiting for our taxi that would take us to Jude's apartment, that I guess all three of us would be staying at tonight. And Jobe of course, who would hopefully be asleep by now, considering it was three a.m.
Luckily he was passed out on the couch, with the tv still on. I ordered Jude to go get ready for bed, which he did after a few protests, so i had time to take care of his brother.
I shut off the episode of Love Island and draped a blanket over him before shutting off the main lights and heading to the bathroom to get ready myself.
Gio came towards me on my way there, giggling to himself and muttering a quick 'good night' before disappearing into the guest bed room that had actually been occupied by Jobe, but whatever I guess.
When I entered the bathroom, I saw the reason for Gio's amusement. Jude was currently only in his boxers, bent over his sink, his head under the water stream of the tap as he washed off what seemed to be shampoo.
"What are you-" my voice speaking up and my hand resting onto his back mad him jump, causing him to hit his head against the tap with a dull noise, following a grunt.
"Oh my god, are you okay?" I had to hold back a laughter, my hands shooting forward to grasp his face instead to be able to turn his head so I could inspect it to make sure he didn't hurt himself. My hands dropped to his chest when I didn't find any.
At least he was able to wash off the majority of the shampoo remains. God knows why he felt like he needed to wash his hair.
"When I said you needed to wash up, I didn't mean it literally." I commented with a laugh, making him roll his eyes as his body still swayed a little bit when standing completely still.
"Let's get you to bed, hm?" I mumbled, not even waiting for an answer before I started walking him to his bedroom, where he immediately fell into the sheets facing forward, arms widely spread so that he was sprawled across the bed.
I changed into a shirt of his, smiling to myself when I heard a soft snoring about two minutes later.
This was my last draft but i had to sacrifice it cuz I forgot updating for a week💀 i didn't even notice that this book has reached 110k reads holy fuck - love y'all 💋
