BVB's star-midfielder Jude Bellingham seen with what appears to be new girlfriend?
That's what was written on top of the page, the bold letters seemingly laughing at my face. Out of all magazines, how did we end up here first?
There was a picture of us hugging attached; someone probably must've taken it when we met up in the tunnels for that brief timespan of two minutes.
I scrolled further, my eyes scanning over the small 'newsflash' article. They were basically saying how an anonymous source had seen us talking and eventually kissing before Jude hurried off to the second halftime. They also called me the 'mysterious girl wearing his jersey', which not gonna lie, made me giggle.
There was no way that anyone would take this seriously.
"What's so funny?" I surprisingly heard Jude's tired voice speak up; i thought he had been sleeping already.
I passed him my phone with anticipation of how he'd react. About thirty seconds later, i heard him mutter a 'oh' as he zoomed in on the picture.
"Are you mad?" I asked quietly before taking back my phone and stuffing it into the pocket of my sweats.
"No," he tugged a strand of my hair behind my ear, "there's no reason to, it's not your fault. If anything, it would be mine, i called you down there."
"But are you not gonna get in trouble?"
"Probably not if i keep up the good form," he said with a shrug, "but my mom's definitely gonna call me if she sees that."
I chuckled and received a tired smile from him before getting up from the couch and tugging on his hand in order to animate him to follow me.
"Let's go to sleep."
He eventually did get up, not without a groan though. We got ready for bed together, me taking a bit longer though since i had to take off my make up and do my skin care because this time, i had actually brought it here with me.
When i joined him in his bed, he was already half asleep so i slid under the sheets as careful as possible. All the effort was pointless though, because the second i had laid down i felt his arms sling around my waist to bring me closer; my back against his chest with his head buried between my shoulder and my chin.
I would lie if i said that him doing that hadn't caused the butterflies to flood my stomach again. There was something about him acting so touchy around me that had me feeing all giddy; especially when i had gotten to know him as being someone who rarely showed affection or adoration to keep up the big ego image.
I hugged his arm, and soon felt myself drift off into a deep sleep.
"At least you look cute in it." Emma shrugged, throwing another peanut in her mouth as she zoomed in on my figure in the leaked picture.
"It's literally just my back." I replied, giving her a confused look while also reaching into the bag between us.
"Bitch can you decide or what? Do you want to be recognized or not?" She sighed frustratedly, tossing my phone between us as she laid back onto the pillows of my bed.
"No," I stated, "but it would be nice if, you know... people knew." I shrugged and sat back as well, my shoulder against hers.
"Ah, so you're already trynna mark your territory, I see-" she said sarcastically, making me interrupt her with a loud 'no' to indicate that she was interpreting this wrongly.
"It's just that... you know Alex never referred to me as his girlfriend around others, and - I don't know, I guess I just want to be something to him." I trailed off, my voice growing quieter with my insecurities of my past relationship showing.
"Of course you'd want to, it's completely valid to feel that way." Emma laid her arm around me to tug me into her chest, my head resting there as she stroked my hair. "And by the way I've seen him looking at you, I can assure you that he'd want you to be that someone too."
Her last words made me smile to myself; it was nice knowing that it seemed like that to outstanding people. The article published about us showed that too, since they were assuming that we were already dating.
"Thanks Ems." I whispered, patting her thigh in appreciation of her comforting me.
We remained quiet like that for a few minutes before she broke the silence again, her voice suddenly sounding rather excited. "Oh, I forgot to tell you something."
I immediately sat upright again, recognizing in her voice that it had something to do with Finn. Her smile was the last hint I needed.
"Shut up!" In my disbelief, I slapped her thigh numerous times when she started nodding excessively.
"How was it?" I asked, pressing for more details.
"When we made out I was this close-" she pinched together her pointer finger and thumb, "- to fainting, I swear."
I gasped excitedly, my hand covering my mouth. "Okay," I held up my pointer finger as we grew quiet again, "was it better than being high?"
I looked at her expectantly before we broke out into laughter. Emma was kind of a stoner, so I wouldn't expect her to go that far yet.
I was happy for her because she had finally had the chance to get with her crush, but I still wasn't sure if I liked him or not. Regardless, I'd support her.
"It's too early to tell." She eventually concluded, making me nod understandingly. We wouldn't want to hype him up too much.
"You know, we should do something with them together. Like as a group." She suggested.
"I don't know..." I trailed off, uncertain if that would work since Jude was kind of known around here after all.
"Come on, it'll be fun. Y'all seriously need to do other stuff besides loafing around at home or attending one of his games." Emma said, earning a look of disapproval from me.
"Rude, but okay." I sighed, "I'll ask him, alright? But don't blame him if he doesn't want to go."
"I'd never." She replied with a offended undertone, but neither of us could take it seriously and we soon burst out into another fit of laughters.
Hate this! 😍 but I promise the next chapters will be fun
