I mumbled a 'hey' as I got seated in the passengers seat of the black Porsche, receiving a kiss to my cheek as I settled my bag between my feet.

"Hey Tia." Jude's calm voice greeted me, instantly lifting my mood that hadn't been good the whole day. After all, it was Monday.

Jude had declared to pick me up from school after his practice; which reminded me that I still to ask him if he'd take me to the game this Saturday.

"Thanks for picking me up." I sent him a weak smile, "maybe we'll do it the other way around next time." I added jokingly, knowing damn well I would have to steal one of my parents cars for that.

"Pulling up in the mini van, then?" He teased, grinning cheekily which earned him a playful slap to his bicep.

"Spoiled." I shook my head in disapproval, making him chuckle.

The car went quiet for a while as we were driving through the busy city. It was around five, which was the time where basically everyone was trying to get home from work.

The sudden feeling of a palm resting on my thigh made me peek over at Jude, who looked as unbothered as ever.

"How was your day?" He asked, glancing over at me before stepping on the gas again after the light we had stood at finally turned green.

"Boring." I shrugged, "at least there was finally some new tea. From all I've heard, my birthday was successful."

"Well spill it already?" He urged sassily, patting my thigh encouragingly.

So I told him. I told him about the story I had managed to overhear about some people hooking up in the guest room before Sera and Amelia slept in there and about Kelce's attitude towards me in art class today, which made him break into a fit of laughters.

I even told him about the attention the picture of us in my story had gained, everyone guessing who the guy was that I had been with all night at my birthday. Obviously some people had seen us kissing and being practically glued to each other, but since it was pretty dim inside and dark outside - paired with the fact that he had been wearing a cap - no one had been able to recognize Jude.

"This secretive thing we have going on is kind of fun, makes me feel all giddy." I joked, but meaning what I said.

It was fun to keep everyone in the dark about his identity, especially when he was who he was - if that made sense.

Secretly, I also liked having him all to myself.

"Yeah." he said sounding rather unconvincingly which made my face change into a confused expression.

"It's a shame I can't show you off." He explained, a smug expression on his face that almost made me blush.

"Well you just can't show my face..." I muttered, tracing off while looking out of the window innocently as if I hadn't just suggested to risk a couple gossip magazine articles.

"Anyways, are we going to yours?" I asked, letting loose of the sensitive topic which made him nod so I texted my mom that I'd be back later today.

As soon as he opened the door to his apartment, I went straight to the massive fridge in his kitchen. It wouldn't be surprising if it was actually my favorite feature about his place because that thing was two doored with a smart screen and a water dispenser.

My amazement of it was a bit worrying though, especially when I had just turned eighteen. You'd think I was a full grown up now, which was a little weird.

I scanned through the fridge's contents with a sigh.
I hadn't eaten since breakfast this morning, which was unusual for me but I guess I just kinda forgot.
