"I don't know what he's talking about." Jude shrugged dismissively, taking another sip of his drink as he stared at Gio.

Gio huffed, "No point in denying it bro," he shrugged , "and to think that I'm the American."

I laughed as i looked between the two, the reason for this argument was just way too funny. We had originally been talking about the languages i could speak, but Gio at some point mentioned that Jude used to think that Mexican was a language. Which he of course knew better by now, but it was still funny.

"Piss off," Jude muttered, "that game just had me stressing."

"Whatever you say, Judey." I joined in and leaned my cheek against his shoulder, Gio snorting as Jude turned to look at me with widened eyes.

"Cold blooded betrayal." He huffed, shaking his head as he acted hurt.

I grabbed his hand under the table, intertwining our fingers to make sure that he knew i was just fooling around with him. His thumb caressing the back of my own hand was enough to not worry about that anymore.

We left the restaurant soon after, since the both of them had training early in the morning tomorrow and i had some school stuff to take care of. I had promised them to come to their game at Friday before i left the car after we had driven up to my house though.

Jude had asked about Emma too, but i had told him of her plans with Finn this weekend that wouldn't allow her to accompany me. He hadn't been too happy about that because he didn't want me to go alone, so after a while of arguing his stubbornness pushed through and i agreed on sitting at the very front; right at the pitch.

"That's gotta be a penalty!" Zoe complained from next to me, raising from her seat. As did i, scanning the pitch for Jude, who sat on the grass as he was surrounded by some of his teammates and some players of the opposite team.

It had been the thirty ninth minute when he had been purposely taken down by a opposite player, who had clearly impeded his obvious goal chance — in the penalty area.

Marco Reus, who had passed the ball to Jude and had seen the whole thing go down, had been arguing with the referee for about five minutes before they were finally awarded the penalty.

He took it himself and scored the second goal for Dortmund in the forty fifth minute. Meaning that by the end of the first halftime, it was a draw.

"Hey, would you like a beer or something?" Zoe asked, tapping on my shoulder so that i turned around and looked up at her standing.

"No, thanks though." I answered with a smile, making her nod before she made her way through the crowd.

Coming on my own had made me anxious, but i luckily befriended Zoe, who had been seated next to me. She had started conversation with me when she had seen me sitting alone, which i had been very thankful for because it was kind of awkward before.

Although she was here with her boyfriend —who had now accompanied her to the drink stands —  she tried to talk to me as much as she could.

I reached into my purse to retrieve my phone and a lipgloss, applying some before i received a message on my phone.

Jude
meet me in the tunnels?

I shook my head with a unintentional smile as i got up to, of course, make my way to where the players walked through every start of a game or a second halftime.

I walked as far as i could before the way was blocked by security. Luckily, Jude had probably already thought of that because i saw him leaning against the wall behind said security.

The second he made eye contact with me, he came jogging over to hug me. I was a bit caught off guard by that since i didn't know what the reason was, but I enjoyed it nonetheless.

"You okay?" I asked, muffling into his chest before he pulled back.

"Yeah, just happy you're here. I've been playing much better than last time, when you weren't." He said, making me look at my feet to hide my smile that would probably reveal that I felt butterflies right now.

Our heads snapped around when we heard someone call Jude's name repeatedly, a man with the clubs training jacket standing at the far end of the corridor and hysterically waving his arms around in the air to gain his attention.

"You're up." I patted his shoulders and he bent down to kiss me before turning to run after the man and eventually disappearing from my view.

I returned to my seat and plopped down next to Zoe again, who eyed me suspiciously.

"Why are you smiling like that?" She asked with a confused look; I hadn't noticed that my face had still held that stupid smile until now, I was starting to think that it would become a new habit of mine.

"Uh, just because." I said with a innocent shrug, Zoe's attention luckily returning back to the pitch because the players started to gather there again.

The second half was filled with a lot of failed goal attempts, free kicks and fouls but when the referee blew the whistle at the ninety fourth minute, it still stood 2-2.

"Are you coming?" Zoe asked when the stadium started to empty and everyone around us started to leave,  including her and her boyfriend.

"No, i gotta wait for... someone, you go ahead though." I stated, giving both of them a brief smile after hugging Zoe goodbye.

I waited for about twenty minutes until i got the message that told me to come to the tunnels again.
When i got there, Jude had already showered and changed into his regular clothes as he was ready to leave.

We drove back to his apartment as we had already agreed on me staying there for the night. My mom had been a bit skeptical about me going to another game at the first place, so i simply told her i would be staying with Emma.

I usually wouldn't lie to her, but i was desperately trying to avoid the 'how' and 'why'.

It was when i finally laid on the couch, in Jude's arms, that i got a notification from someone dming me on instagram.

I opened it right away when i saw the username, recognizing Zoe's name in it since we had exchanged our instagrams earlier.

I furrowed my brows in confusion as i waited for safari to open the link she had sent me.

You could say that i was baffled when a article appeared on my screen, from none other but the famous german celebrity gossip magazine Promiflash.
