Emma slung her arms around me as everyone erupted in cheers, leaving me feeling ecstatic.
"I love you." She whispered, holding me close before pulling back and kissing my cheek with a big smile on her face.
"Happy eighteenth Tiana!" Amelie slurred, also embracing me — at least that's what she tried to because Emma had to support her with a giggle.
All around me people started congratulating and hugging me, and still, my attention was on him only.
My eyes were on him the whole time, it was as if the world around me didn't matter anymore when looking at him.And in a way, it didn't. I only wanted him.
His eyes hadn't left me either, staring at me longingly every time someone new approached me.
I heard Teenage Fever by Drake play in the distance when I finally approached him, the back yard being a little less crowded by now.
He had a big smile on his face, making me uncontrollably smile as well. Instead of hugging me like I had expected, he gently grabbed my face with his hands on my cheeks. Tilting my head to the left slightly, he leaned down to press a kiss on my cheek.
I giggled but quickly turned serious again when I saw the expression on his face, his gaze lowered as his eyes flickered between mine and my lips.
I grinned knowingly, one hand slinging around his neck as the other turned around his cap so that it was now sitting backwards on his head.
Before I knew it, his lips crashed onto mine as his arms wrapped around my waist to draw me closer. Butterflies erupted in my stomach as I tugged him down by his neck, smiling into the kiss.
"Happy birthday Tia." He whispered against my lips when we parted, which immediately led to me kissing him again. I just couldn't seem to get enough of him, and I didn't know why.
"Let's go back inside, it's getting a little cold." I lied, intertwining our hands as he followed me inside. I wasn't cold at all, quite the opposite actually, I think I've never felt so hot; my face was probably flushed as fuck.
The girls had moved to the dining table, Emma sending me a knowing wink when we walked up to them. She was currently rolling a blunt; as I mentioned before, Emma was a smoker who wouldn't miss a chance of a little weed.
I hadn't noticed Jude already sitting down until I felt a pair of arms sling around my waist, gently pulling me down onto his lap as my skin was tingling from his warm touch.
Amelie sat in the corner next to a group of boys, chucking one shot after another which made me a little worried. Sera noticed my expression, reassuring me that she'd be looking out for her as they would be sharing the guest room anyways.
Me and Jude were handed a shot too, which led to me just taking both of them. I had a rather high alcohol tolerance but I wasn't planning on getting wasted tonight either since I'd much rather remember what actually happened.
The smell of weed soon filled my nostrils, Emma sharing the blunt with Sera who offered it to me.
I'd be lying if I said I hadn't enjoyed being high before, especially with those two, but I declined this time. "Maybe later." I said, relying on what the rest of the night would have to offer.
The group cheered as Sera spit out the bare lime peel after having taken it from a girls mouth; the one she had been with all night.
She smiled triumphantly before pointing at me.
"Your turn, birthday girl."My eyes went wide as I heard Jude chuckle behind me. What was it with people at this party and body shots?
I shook my head, but was handed a shot anyways. I tried protesting, but none of them were having it.
I blamed my unconcern on the alcohol in my system as I accepted my fate with a nervous laugh, turning around on Jude's lap to see him trying to suppress a amused smirk.
"Can I use you?" I asked quietly, making him look around in the air as if he was thinking of his answer very carefully.
"Cut the bullshit, I knew you've been dying to receive a body shot from me since I've told you about Kelce's offer." I mumbled teasingly, my one arm slung around his shoulders to stabilize myself.
"No, I'd rather do one of you but since that sadly isn't possible, I'll allow it." He shrugged, cheekily smiling to himself which made me grin.
"Good." I said, starting with gently turning his head sideways to make his neck accessible for me. I reached for cut up lime on the table, squeezing it's juice onto his skin as a small stripe and topping it off with sprinkling some salt onto it.
"Here." I held the remaining lime in front of his mouth, him grasping it with his teeth.
He stayed frozen the entire time, not daring to move just once as I felt his warm breath fanning against my shoulder when I eventually threw back the tequila.
Leaning slightly forward, I ran my tongue along his neck in a teasingly slow motion before turning his head with my hand so that he faced me again, bending my head down from my elevated seat on his lap to retrieve the lime from his mouth with a grin.
His gaze fell to my lips as everyone cheered once again. I felt my usual confidence subside when he looked at me like that, so I quickly turned away, hiding my blush to watch Finn do a shot from Emma instead.
I hope this wasn't weird to read💀 just wanted to add some tension idk
