In which two teenagers with an equally big ego fall in love.
Tiana is in her eleventh year of school, Jude plays as a midfielder for her hometowns club. When they meet on a faithful train ride, life takes a turn for the both of them.
The school week went rather boring as we had no exams left, the next ones being after Easter break in April. I did good in school, which (if I dare to say) isn't surprising. Apart from math, I had always been good; but that's what I had Jude for now.
As soon as I arrived home, I had thrown myself into bed to take a nap before tonight. The girls would be coming over soon to help me prepare everything. I still didn't know how many people would be there, I simply left it to my friends to provide for guests. I didn't tell give them a limit, which might be interesting.
My parents had volunteered to stay at my grandmas house for the weekend to give us some space. I hope they wouldn't regret leaving the responsibility of the wellbeing of the house to me and Tiago.
Speaking of the devil, my door flew open to reveal Tiago in the doorway alerting me that my friends had arrived. I thanked him and quickly rushed downstairs to see them standing in the hall as they waited for me so we could head to the grocery store.
"Hi guys." I greeted them, dabbing each of them up. We liked to do that instead of hugging, we thought it was funnier.
"You look like shit." Emma commented, making me roll my eyes at her as I stopped my hand mid-air before meeting hers.
"I took a nap, jeez." I scoffed, eventually colliding my hands with hers anyways. "You know about my social battery problem, you're lucky you could convince me to go through with this in the first place."
"I know, I know. I was only joking." She replied, but looked at my stained oversized shirt again. "Kinda."
"I can't look hot all day, so I'm saving that for later." I said as if it was self explanatory. Their eyes all landed on me.
"But I'll get changed real quick." I announced, making them all nod as I ran back up the stairs. I quickly threw on a random hoodie and grabbed my keys before we left the house. It wasn't as cold as the past days, which made me hopeful that spring would be arriving soon.
"So, what alcohol are we getting?" Amelie asked as I threw a few bags of cheap chips into our shopping cart. I'd order pizza later, but snacks are still a must.
Mom gave me 200€ for everything; my parents were surprisingly glad that I was throwing a party. They said that they had been afraid I'd 'self isolate again'.
"Booze. Loads of booze." I stated with a grin, beer was alright but I loved the sweet stuff.
"I think five cases of beer should be fine, right?" Emma added, her and Sera loading them onto a separate cart. They were pretty big after all, containing twenty four bottles each.
"Yeah, we told people to bring some too, remember?" Sera reminded us.
"Right, liquor. The expensive stuff, that's good." I said, letting my gaze scan over the big shelf that the bottles were stored in. "If we buy five ourselves, it should be fine."
They all agreed and we went to the cash register, Sera paying the liquor with some money I gave her since she was the only one who was already eighteen.
We headed back home with her car, unloaded our purchases and started setting everything up: a beer pong table in the backyard, some actual music boxes in the kitchen and living room I had borrowed from a neighbor and a few party lights to go along with the music. We stored the alcohol and some soft drinks on the kitchen island, along with some classical red cups.
When we were sure that we didn't forget anything, we headed upstairs into my room to get ready.
I put on some music and checked Emma's instagram story, seeing that she had posted a picture of us we had taken in the bathroom earlier.

I smiled to myself, taking a screenshot before tossing my phone on my bed and almost hitting Amelie. She didn't notice though, she was way too busy applying her mascara.
I retrieved the dress I decided on wearing today from my closet; it was a silver mini dress with a silky fabric that made it gleam slightly. I think I bought it a year ago, but never wore it. He didn't let me.
I pushed the thought into the back of my mind where I couldn't access it anymore and sat down in front of my full body mirror instead, Emma towering over me on her feet as she had to use it as well.
I opted for a simple makeup, nothing special. Basically my every day routine but with a bit of silver sparkly eyeshadow that Amelie decided to put on me because she said it'd be matching with my dress.
Before slipping into my dress, I put on some silver creoles that matched with the necklace I wore everyday, a silver chain with a pendant of my star sign - Pisces - attached to it.
I left my hair open, but Emma insisted on curling it which I gladly let her do. I had to admit that it looked a lot more voluminous after, which I liked.
After everyone was done, we moved onto the couch in the living room to wait for people to get here. Sera mentioned that they had said to be here around eight, which meant that the first people would probably arrive around nine.
"You didn't lie when you said earlier that you'd save up the 'looking hot' for later. That dress is serving." Amelie complimented, the others mumbling a 'true' to agree with her.
I shrugged, giving them a 'told you so' expression. They were all wearing different variations of black mini dresses, which made them look like they were my bridesmaids.
"Oh, hold on." Emma exclaimed, hurrying into the hallway to dug around in the pocket of the jacket she came with, eventually pulling out a little plastic crown.
"A tiara for Tiana." She said as she put it onto my head, making me snort at the horrible word joke. "Now the party can get started."
Next couple chapters are probably my favorite ones that I have written so far :o
