The Girl Reborn / Neteyam x reader

Round Two

"Guys, i think we have a visator" I whisper yell to both lo'ak and neteyam. I dont take my eyes off the silhouette. I knew the animal as soon as I saw it, the same Titanothere from earlier and I think it recognized me too. I went to stand my ground again as Lo'ak and Neteyam ran over to me.

"I think you should go back to the lab y/n, it might be a baby but its still bigger than you." Neteyam stated and all I did was give hime a dirty look before Lo'ak said, "Girl your oxygen is low that red light means your almost out." I looked down at my tank and freaked out for a second, "I can hold my breath and take smaller breaths, now you guys need to go now. This is between me and it for territory"

"is that what happened to your side?" Neteyam said and I nodded keeping eye contact with the animal. "Holy shit girl, that's got to be a broken rib!" Lo'ak said kind of yelling. Me and this animal were comunicating with our eyes and I wasn't letting it win this time. "Guys, leave or at least walk away. This isn't a normal one and I need to scare it enough to get it off my back." and with that neteyam and Lo'ak began climbing in the three and still watch over me.

"You want round two?!" I yelled as loud as I could this time not backing down. As soon as I finished the sentence it stomped its foot and started charging towards me as I did it. I started hollering running towards it and as I kept getting closer it slowed down to stop and I yelled, "I don't want to fight you for land, I want to live among you not against you!" It slowly turned away and and left me to myself. I was panting heavily as my hair was getting thinner. I didn't wait for the two brothers to get out of the tree and say whatever I ran back to the lab holding my breath and only taking a breath when needed.

I was scared I wasn't going to make it and i had every right to be. I was still a few hundred feet from the lab when my oxygen beeped and I started getting light headed and vision started to go black. the next thing I knew i fell to the ground trying to get air. I started crawling until my body gave in and the last thing I felt was having someone pick me up in their arms.

Neteyams pov:
"y/n!" I yelled and i saw her trying to crawl. Me and Lo'ak both saw her fight the Titanothere on her own and were truly amazed, like I said she has a strong heart. We jumped out of the tree and started to follow her when she suddenly took off like a bat outta hell. "Her oxygen" lo'ak said. My eyes went wide and I sprinted towards her.

I don't know why Eywa is pushing me towards her but there is a reason. Even without Eywa, I for some reason care so much about her already.

I craddled her in my arms as me and lo'ak sprinted to the lab, "Call dad lo'ak, tell him to come alone i dont want her to be completely out in the open." Lo'ak shook his head and grabbed in neck to talk into it

I ran by the door of the lab and tried to pull on it then I realized it was locked. "no no no, where are the keys," I looked at her body the was starting to twitch,and grabbed a set of keys out of her pocket and went to unlock the door, I don't know how I got it first try but I did and rushed her in side and sat her on the kitchen table and ripped off her mask trying to see if she was still alive. I couldn't feel her breathing but i still felt a light pulse, "Lo'ak is dad coming?!" I screemed at him getting really nervous for y/n.

"He's almost here Neteyam, he said to try and wake her," Lo'ak said walking in. Try and wake her thats what I've been doing? I began to slightly shake her still no response, and then I hear dad ask where I am and the human was.

"DAD!! Over here please" I yelled, he came over to access the situation, little did I know he also brought the chief but the chief did not walk in. "What were you doing out here son, its dangerous out here" Dad said, "yes sir, I know but I saw her and it felt like eywa pushed me towards her and I needed to know more, " I told me dad confidently and he just looked at me with soft eyes. Dad came back over with a ball looking thing and placed it in her mouth and closed her nose. He was pumping oxygen back into her lungs forcing her to breathe.

He continued this proccess a couple more time and she arose with a gasp next thing I knew she tried to run again seeing my father.

"Why do you keep bringing people!?" Y/n yelled at me "You're risking my saftey" she lowered her voice and she looked scared. I can tell she did not want to harm anyone and we did not want to harm her. "Y/n look at me, are you feeling okay?" my dad walked over to her and all she did was shake her head yes then she looked at his hands as they reached out for her. She grabbed them and looked at them with curiostiy.

My father gave me a look with one eyebrow up and one down. I shrugged my shoulders not knowing what she was doing and she said, "You were human? You're one of the ones Eywa made into Navi, you're so lucky I wish I could be one." she said showing her k-9's she sharpened. "you're not going to kill me are you?" I saw my dad look at her and smile, "I'm not going to kill you kid," he said giving her a hug, "but my son might because you scared him, he did not mean to invade your privacy and saftey"

"I do have to say, I did bring the chief out here because I wasn't sure what to expect but he is a very understanding man." dad said.

"Chief?" y/n asked. the chief walked in and looked at y/n and I went and stood by her side. "relax neteyam, sit." the chief said so we all did. "I will not cause you any harm nor will anyone in our clan. I know you think you've been living unnoticed but we've known of you being here since you arrived." the chief continued, 'we did not want to bother you as we could tell you respect Eywa and the land."

"Thank you sir," y/n said looking at the chief with joyful eyes.

"Eywa has shown me you and knows you mean no harm, she has told me we will need you as well, you are allowed to come to the clan when you please if you please."

Y/n leaned over to me and asked if she was dreaming or not and if she was dead. I gave her a smile and shook my head no, we can tell when people mean harm and it was obvious she did not.

okay, i promise this is the last one for the night.
I wasn't sure how to make y/n meet the clan memebers.
I hope this was a good chapter.
I may try and post every other nigth except for the weekends that will be more given im not busy.
