Neteyam's pov:

I sat by y/n waiting for the rest of my family to arive.  I kept waiting for a smile to appear on her face or for her to whistle back but I got nothing.  I couldn't wrap my head around that the girl I completely fell for, that my family grew so close to in what felt like a short amount of time was gone.

"We deserved more time love, it's not right, you shouldn't of taken the bullet," I said basically to myself.

"Y/n?" I heard Tuk say quietly from behind me.  I forgot her and Kiri didn't even know.

I looked behind me and made eye contact with them with eyes full of tears.

"What happened?" Kiri asked panic in her voice hopping on the rock with Tuk behind her.

"She saved my life,"  I told them as they sat beside her.

Tuk grabbed y/n's arm and placed it on her face while hugging it crying.  Her and Tuk grew so close and Tuk didn't even get to say goodbye.

The rest of my family came up onto the rock.  Dad and mom sat beside me.  Mom sat holding y/n's head in her lap and braiding a piece of hair, "I didn't get to braid her hair before," Mom said sniffiling.

"She was so strong, and she cared about you so much son," Dad told me putting his hand on my shoulder.

"Her parents died protecting Pandora," Tuk said looking at me crying.

"She died protecting Pandora," Kiri said adding in

"She gave her life to Eywa, and loved everything about this place," Lo'ak said sitting by Tsireya at y/n's legs.

"And Eywa couldn't protect her, I couldn't, Pandora couldn't," I said to everyone I knew they were trying to help but it hurt so bad.

"Son, don't blame yourself, Eywa protected her for the longest time in the forest you have to trust her Neteyam," Dad said pulling my neck and making me face him.

"It just hurts so bad, I can't do this with out her," I said and everyone softened their eyes while I let a few tears stream.

"Neteyam, I'm going to miss her too," Tuk said coming over and hugging me and sitting on my lap.

Everyone was so tired at this point, regret and hurt filled everyones face.  I stood up having Tuk get up first wiping my eyes and trying to act as strong as possible.

"We need toget her back to the village and get things prepared," I said in a low toned voice.  I went to pick her up when dad put his hands on my shoulder.

"I can take her if you want son," He said.

"I've got her dad, it's the least I can do. Take her home..." I told him picking her up in my arms.  Her body has started to grow a little stiff.  I sat down on my Ilu putting y/n in my lap and holding onto her tightly.  It was a slow ride back to the village.  The family followed behind me except for dad who was by myside incase I need him to take her.

I looked down at her while riding and felt tears forming in my eyes.  I couple tears fell to her and I just kept feeling my heart break over and over.

We got closer to the villiage after riding and so many people were already at the shore when they saw us coming.  We got into the shollow parts of the water and got off our sea animals.

I held y/n in one arm closely getting off seeing dad jump by my side to help.  I dismissed him and kept hold of her.  Walking to the sand from the water felt like the longest walk.  Aonung, Ronal and Tonowari broke through the crowd seeing the commotion.  I held her closely making eye contact with them.
