Joining The Hunting party

It's been about a couple weeks since I connected to the tree.  It's been better but it hasn't been completely perfect as expected. 

I've been visiting Ronal to help with my flashbacks but it can only do so much Jake told me.  The Sullys have been a big help in getting me through.  With Jake knowing what I'm going through he's able to guide everyone on how to help and what will make it worse.

When I get an episode of flashbacks I have a tell tail sign apparently that they've figured.  I don't know if it's a mixture of my body language and me closing my eyes or what.

I've been practicing more archery to calm my head and think straight.   The void doesn't linger around me anymore unless I go into a really bad episode and go back through my death in the visions.  But that's only happened a couple times and only one seizure since my first one.

We could see y/n getting another flashback disconnecting from us and I rushed to her side to help her.  She was standing still holding the wall trying to breath while her face scrunched in discomfort.

She held onto her chest holding in pain gasping, "hey hey I'm here" I told her with no response. 

I felt her body start to stiffen and lose stability and her head fell back.

"Dad it's happening again" I said as her body lost all stability and started shaking.  I tried to hold her right but I wasn't able to.

"Lay her down son," dad said pulling over a mat to lay her on.  He was much calmer than I was.  I laid her down as softly as I could making sure her head didn't hit the floor I put my hand there with dad helping me.

Dad turned her to her side and held her there with me helping.  The way her body was moving without her controlling it was scarring me.  Everyone looked scarred not knowing what to do especially Tuk.

She stayed there shaking for a little bit before her body started slowing down on the compulsions.  I put her head in my lap and brushed her loose hair to get her to wake. 

I saw her open her eyes confused and when she looked at me she looked at me like a stranger.  I could tell she was still in her head.  She shot up and tried to run looking scarred but almost fell.  I caught her and she fought my grasp trying to get out, "let go of me asshole" she said.

I turned her around to face me looking into her eyes.  "It's me y/n, It's Neteyam" I told her fighting her trying to get away.  She stopped fighting when she realized it was me and fell into my arms.  I held her tightly as she cried. 

Dad looked at her worried about her seizure and flashback, I think he saw himself in her and the way she struggled. I knew she wasn't here mentally and I didn't get upset with the way she reacted.

END OF Flashback...

I'm out in the woods right now practicing my archery.  I set up targets all over the place and the trees.  Neteyam helped me and moves them around for me so they're in different places. 

I walked around and saw a target.  I shot up my bow and took a shot hitting it right in the middle. I smiled at my success. 

"You're getting really good," Neytiri said to me from behind me.  "You're so talented, i can't wait for you to go on hunting trips with us,"

"You know what Jake said, I can't go until I stop having flashbacks," I said kind of sad taking a look at my target and pulled my bow up again.

"You're strong spirited and you can if you really want to,"  she said as I continued aiming.
