She's a Human

Lo'ak turned to both Neteyam and I and just smiled and walked out of the hut after saying by to his parents.  Tsireya was so pretty, I seriously don't think it's fair. 

"You know y/n, you should come out and swim with us," Kiri said to me, "I'd love that but," I stopped, i gosh I'm gonna make a fool of myself if I dont tell them, "I don't know how to swim," I finished whispering the last part looking down in my lap.

"That's okay we can teach you," Both Neteyam and Kiri said, "We're going swimming?  Can I ride on one of your guys Ilu's?"  Tuk asked.  "of course," Kiri said.  "We will be back mom and dad," Neteyam said, "okay, be safe and behave!" Jake yelled out.  As soon as we walked out we could hear them arguing, I can bet I know what about. 

We walked up to the edge and everyone else acted like it was nothing and jumped in, I stood there for a second and looked a Neteyam with serious eyes, "If you let me drown I'll literally come back a haunt you" I said as I took a leap in.  I floated to the top and tried to keep myself up,

"First relax you breathing you're causing a wind storm," neteyam said joking around but I did listen and slowed my breathing, "Good, now slow down your arms and legs and just go slow," As he was saying it he found a way to support me up.  "See, and now you're swimming, I didn't let you drown."

"Thank you," I said swimming away from him, I'm obviously not a strong swimmer but I will mess with him. I've been training myself to last longer without oxygen, and i was going to scare him.  I went to wear we just jumped and took my mask off.

"Y/n!  what do you think you're doing?" Neteyam yelled, I couldn't answer back so I just shrugged my shoulders and went under.  I opened my eyes and saw Neteyam swimming towards me as I let myself sink to the bottom.  When I hit the bottom I looked at Neteyam and started acting like I needed air,

He went wide eyed and tried to pull me to the surface but I grabbed his hand and stopped him and just smiled.  He looked back down at me and signed something to me, I had no clue what he said so I just looked at him confused and swam back away.  He caught up to me and I dont know what got into me but I tried to get on his back and wrestle.  We continued for a while until I did need air and calmly swam back up and grabbed my mask taking in a breath of air.

Neteyam popped his head up out of the water closer than i think he meant to while I was breathing and putting my mask on, I turned around and went to say that was fun until he grabbed me, "do you trust me" he asked, "Yes?" I responded confused as to why he was stopping me from turning around, "Well... You shouldn't" Then he tossed me in the air to splash back into the water,

"What the hell" I asked him as I got to the surface.  He just looked at me a smiled and shrugged, "I'm hungry, are you?"  He asked me and I just nodded my head yes.  He got back up on the walkway to the hut and just looked at me like I was supposed to do it like he did.  I climbed up the post and leaned back to grab the edge of the walkway to push myself up. 

"Thanks for the help," I sarcastically told him, "No problem anytime," he said back putting his arm around me, giving me butterflies and causing his mother to look at us as we walked in. 

"Neteyam," Neytiri said  and it was like they had a war going on in their eyes.

"You are a human," she said looking at me with disgust, "You are a sky demon, I do not like you" she said stepping closer but Jake stopped her looking at her in the eyes trying to calm her.

"Mom, you have no clue what she's been through," Neteyam said to his mom, "Neteyam you don't have to do this, I can just go." I told him beofre he spilt my secrets.

"Her parents died mom," Neteyam continues, and all I can think is, oh here he goes, "Her parents died to protect Pandora, They turned against the other humans, exactly like dad did.  The only difference is they didn't have an Navi body,"  Neteyam finished pleading with his mom who just looked stunned, "She wants to cause no harm, she just wants to live"

I stood there silently, kind of rude to just throw that out there, Neytiri just looked at me with sarrow filled eyes, "I lost my dad to them, he passed right infront of me,"

"So did both of mine," I stated earning a look from All three of them, "I was hiding in a closet watching everything, they tried to kill as many as they could but they could only do so much before the military guy in charge killed them," Finishing my sentence I got a hug from all of them which helped but my parents were still gone.  "I brought part of them, something they loved deeply to burry here, or at the time where ever my home was going to be."

"I am sorry y/n, I want you to know you will always be welcomed here," Neytiri said pulling me away from the hug.

"I have something I want to show you guys" I told them quietly, "I trust you, it's a tree but something about it is special,"
