I loved how close me and y/n got recently. Her being around our family has brought such a bigger story into our lives.
I'm braiding her hair in a different way than we usually braid hair. She deserves something special. She told me not to worry about the beads but I already had some to put in.
She is so sweet. She loves my brother so much and I appreciate everything she has done for us.
We were making small talk as I got done braiding her hair.
"I know you cannot see it but trust me when I say it looks great," I told her smiling.

"This will keep it out of your face as well" I told her brushing it slightly.
We stood up after talking a little bit more and noticed Aonung and his friends coming.
I turned to y/n, she was still staring at them and I saw her face go cold. She turned her head to me and I rolled my eyes being annoyed with them.
Y/n grabbed my hand and started to walk away.
They were yelling at us and I was just trying to ingore them as well as she was. Aonung grabbed our shoulders and yanked us back to look at him.
I stepped away facing them where as y/n stayed strong. I don't know how she does it.
What am I supposed to do? I can't fight like her.
They were going back and forth with words as I stayed still watching.
"I bet your parents are glad they're dead just so they don't have to see you," Aonung said
I was shocked by what he said. Was her really this jealous of her? I saw y/n make a fist getting ready to hit him.
"Neteyam probably wishes you stayed dead you freak," Aonung said looking a me, "actually all of them do, you're a burden and you should leave,"
Oh my Eywa... that was just too far. Neteyam would never want her to leave and to say that we don't want her here hurt something inside of me because I knew she took it to heart.
Y/n hit Aonung and then the whole fight started. I ran to find help not knowing who to find. I thought maybe my parents first but I think Neteyam might be better.
"I'm going to get Neteyam," I said Not getting any response.
I ran to the hut as fast as I could trying to not hit anyone on my way there.
I swung myself into the hut with panic stricken on my face. I looked at my parents out of breath.
"Kiri, we're talking," Jake said trying to get me to leave.
I stood there trying to breath and say what I needed to. I walked over to Neteyam and grabbed his arm.
"It's y/n" I whispered so my parents wouldn't hear.
Neteyam stared at me confused and raised his eyes. "What?" He asked
"Come," I said pulling him out of the hut.
The parents stood confused, "I'll be back I promise" Neteyam told the parents walking with me.
"What's wrong Kiri," Neteyam asked me.
"Aonung and his friends came over to me and y/n and started picking on her and saying awful things" I said trying to get him to go.
"Where is She?" He asked looking around.
"I am trying to show you so come on," I told him.
"Kiri what happened," he asked
"There are three of them and one of her and she hit Aonung first. Now come" i said trying get him to come with me this time.
He obliged and ran behind me. I told him what they said and he got extremely mad. He started to run in front of me not knowing where to even go.
We were running when lo'ak tried to stop us to ask what's wrong.
"Aonung and his friends are fighting with y/n, let's go," Neteyam yelled pulling lo'ak.
Lo'ak began running with us as we were getting closer they were farther ahead and I would point them in the direction.
We heard a scream that sounded like y/n causing us to sprint even faster.
"What the fuck," Lo'ak yelled running.
We ran into the three of them kicking y/n on the ground and she was still trying to fight them grabbing one of their feet and tossing him to the ground then punching him in the face. She just doesn't give up.
They got there and quickly stopped the fight. Y/n stayed quiet standing on the side. She wiped the blood off her nose and spat on the ground.
I watched as Neteyam yelled at them and walked over to y/n to see her wounds and then another fight started.
"Stop it," I yelled after hearing y/n try and get Neteyams attention. It was no use until dad came over to stop it.
Dad stopped the fight yelling at Aonung and his friends. They left and dad looked at y/n.
